Immediately in the game my ulfsark uncovered a huge load of deer on the quaint and picturisque, well worth more than 500 food, and i got hunting dogs as my brave gatherers marched towards their innocent frames. As they struck them down with their primitive bows, more villagers were produced and soon dwarves were popping out to aid in gold production, and before you knew it, a booming economy was alive in my city as my temple was built on the right side of his base, just outside of the sentry's ginormous LoS. Once I advanced, he simply said "Oh #%^@" as my shocking 4:56 (I know, its not THAT fast) put terror in his bones once the few hersir I already owned had started to demolish his pitiful tower.
My ulfsark began to raise forth a huge expansion, a forward base unmatched by the gods. Meanwhile, a Valkryie spawned and my economy just kept becoming more and more greater than the great kingdom of Rome itself. My hersirs found a patch of wood gatherers, and I saw a gold miner huddled together by a safe and cozy tower due to my spy. Now I had to prepare for the fight of the world, determining the fate of this wretched place.
As the wood gatherers were destroyed as his towers were raising forth death on my courageous soldiers, I did all I could to save my poor hersir. I underminded the entire structure, and it collapsed on its base, taking all guards inside it to the graveyard. The gold miners mining gold knew their apocalypse was soon to come, as raiding cavalry had found a small group of hunters, two einherjars had formed to raise forth destruction. In a panicky spasm, my opponent did all he could to build up a stable or two as Poseidon, and managed to somehow get forth an archery within his TC range. Toxotes starting pouring out of his archery range to combat my hersirs, but they were sweeped apart by a raiding cavalry squad from the rear. His gold mining was gone. Wood = gone. Food had only a few left, and he had a few gathering sheep and farming in desperation. As I soon found my mistake in that my gold miners had been sitting there for a minute, idol, my empire looked to fall apart. Sure, I had my opponent pinned, and down for the count, but my economy was in shambles, as the period key just never stopped being put to use. I had to pop up more villagers from my dying TC as I threw together in armory for hopes of flaming weapons, and advanced as soon as I could, still flinging his plentiful villies and sparse toxotes/hippikons to death.
Once I advanced, I knew the time had come for the end of my opponent. I lay forth a hill fort in the back of his base, and, in all it's glorious wonder, started attacking any enemy that dared to cross its path. Soon, devices known to the simple greeks as "portable rams," appeared. Harmless - or so it seemed.
More ulfs appeared from my home town, and expanded my city to farther reaches, taking the land around my soon-to-be-dead opponent. My great hill fort the addition of a longhouses and a hill fort along with it. His villagers were safely inside his TC fire, while I gathered my ulfs and raiding cavalry and prepared for the final attack, as 3 rams started to approach his unsuspecting TC.
What happened next to my troops only I could ever explain. Their weapons started on fire, and the burning rage inside them grew ever more. As they charged into the arrow fire, the deafening whistle of the iron approaching them, they pillaged the TC for all its worth while leading the rams through to victory. More rams and more ulfsarks appeared, ready to pillage the TC, as my opponent's villies stood in awe, idol. I had idol villagers. But he battle consumed me, as his TC fell. Finally, he resigned with a "this is so stupid."

What bothers me is this: He was mad because I 'sort of' used a build order for Loki in the first age, and used the basic tactics described in L_Clan_Justin's loki guide (made me much better) and watch some recorded games off sanctuary. He got mad at me for doing this and my response was "I want to get better, and i beat you with skill." He said that "that was nothing at all like skill." What is your opinion? Is that skill to partially use a build order?
