Turma. Cheirobalistae are too expensive. Only use them if your enemy is predominately using infantry, if they do this switch to cheiroballistae and as soon as they start making less infantry go back to focusing on turma. The key thing with using a lot of turma is to raid though. Neither of the two units will do particularly well in open battle unless your enemy is focusing on using what those units counter (and the difference between them when not in open battle is that turma raid so much better).

Turma because of cost, speed and they are so good at raiding. Later in the game you can add cherios as long as you have a decent meatshield.

Turma, as oranos always make turma unless they r training pure mainline infantry or calvalry.Turma have base attack of 3 or 4 ( free medium ups make it 4 ) and cost 2 pop, 50 wood and 45 gold. Cherios r pretty much more pathetic since they take longer to train, have less speed and the same attack and cost 4 POP! They also cost more than twice as much. Unless ur kronos, for the price of 1 cherio u can get 2 turma. However unlike turma, cherios dont lose their edge late game and are very good vs norse. ( watch their huskies fall in lik 3 shots )
