LK and I aren't leaving, we are just not gonna be able to post alot. I will always be a loyal member of this forum as long as i'm interested in AOM. And i won't be uninterested for a long time after the game is out. There just isn't anything deciet to respond to. A bunch of cookie crap, immature forumers, and repeated annoying questions. ES resently hasn't been saying anything new, nor have they been responding to posts. I'm starting to think that the Glory Days are past us. But to tell you the truth, i thought the same thing 2-3 months ago. Nothing interesting was being said, everyone was leaving, and it just sucked. I thought the forums were gonna suck forevermore. But they picked back up. Good ideas were made, and the forum wasn't flooded with immature and stupid threads.
I'm sure times will get better. In a few months, Sidgu shall return. AE will be back. Tyr may show his face. Definately over Christmas vacation these forumers will spice up. Things happen, people leave. Times change. We may never hear another idea from TheNewbie, or a past great. We have to move on. New things will come. The forums will go on.
All i ask is that the forumers realize that this isn't a playground, that this isn't a crazy place where everyone just makes party threads. This is a heaven for those who wish to track AOM and try to pass ideas in the hopes that ES will read them. Immaturity should be looked-down on.
I want to point out a button that says "Search". You can search for past posts and topics. This would help alot. Reading old conversations may bring up new ideas, or dropped concepts. It also makes this forums better for the experienced people who have answered some questions 30-40 times.
Finally, i wish ES would post more. What good are these forums without the constant assurance that these ideas are being read, and givin wieght. Without ES, these forums are just abunch of people giving praises about AOM and ES that noone deserving credit hears.
My girlfriend won't take up all my time, but i can't post replies if there isn't anything decient to reply too.
The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference.
The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference.
The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference.
And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference.
