Off topic, I just recently had an awesome rated game against someone who was really around 1700 but didn't have the WIProxy.dll update so was at 1600. I took 4 TCs straight away, but it took me bloody ages to kill him - he just wouldn't die even though I had a huge pop advantage. At one point he almost broke into my forward base when I ran out of gold. If he'd have hung on a bit longer he might've won as I had no trade (although I had 6000 food for caravans) and one gold mine left. I even made a Titan (and admittedly used him craply) and he killed him even while I was attacking his forces. Crazy game. Him and I hope to play 2vs2 rated in the near future, although it's hard to find opponents.
On topic, I find AQ incredibly useful because you can basically set the ratio of units you want. Without it, if you have say 3 Migdols and they're grouped, you'd have to press the group number, then make 3 of each unit. With AQ, you can have like one making elephants, one making camels and chariots and the other making chariots. This gives you a nice unit combo, and you can tweak it until you find you have roughly the same army all the time when replacements arrive. Obviously you need to change it if they are taking out all of your elephants etc. Plus, you still need to manually get MUs out, and Priests too. The most use it has for me is for villagers. First TC keeps AQing until either I have 72-78 and I'm happy with my income, or I have 72-78 minus 28-30 that I will use on carvans (normally multiplayer games).
Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand.
I don't care, I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me.
Take me out to the black, tell them I ain't comin' back.
Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.
There's no place I can be, since I found Serenity.
But you can't take the sky from me...
