Hey guys.

I'm new here but I've been reading the forums a bit to try and get better, just never bothered to register. I'm an Isis player because I love the Egyptions (both play-style and coolness value), and The Titans ruined Ra and Set. I like using Isis because ridiculously strong priests, Thoth Elephants and Chariot Archers are my favourite units. I also love to Roc Drop, but A&E means I seldom get to use it. I occasionally use Ra, because Shifting Sands is great and hilarious to use to transport an army on top of cliffs ect. Villie Rushing is also fun.

piglattin take the first letter off and put it on the end and add "ay" to the end so extnay would be next

Hi I'm Zorkax. I have been playing AOM for around 5 years now, but I have only been on the site for a couple of months. (Didn't know this place existed!)

I am currently up to hard mode (2 vs 2 only) on random map mode. Otherwise medium.

I am rated 1622 on Online play and I love playing Sims maps.

My favourite god is Zeus and I rarely play anything else.
My favourite unit is Heavy Hoplite with Iron shields.

My favourite map is Acropolis and I kick ass on that map.

I love doin Hoplite rushes with hundreds of Hoplites waiting to come out of around 40 millitary accadamies.

I have made tons of scenarios and have submitted 2 scenarios here; Repel the Bandits... and Fort Azgul.
(Fort Azgul is far better than the other.)

I love playing tons of other RTS games such as:

-Rise of Nations
-Rise of Legends
-AOE (All of them!)
-Battle For Middle Earth (Both!)
-All the Total War games (Medieval 2 rocks!)
-Star Wars Empire at War

I also love playing 1st person games:

-Fable
-Oblivion
-Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (Both!)

And not to mention my PS2 games! (I think I am getting PS3 for Christmas. Fingers crossed!)

I met this guy on ESO today, I think his name was 'khandiibar' he was an alright player but didn't know many of the games counter units. I directed him here so hopefully he will show up some time ~ Khan

Hey all!
I'm from the UK and to be honest, I am far too old to be playing games like this. But hey! AOM rocks! So who cares.

I don't play any other PC game as I'm mainly a console lass. I've been recommended this site cos I'm a bit rubbish at the game. Hopefully I can learn more tips so I don't get whooped so much.

Apart from my up and coming wedding, my real life is pretty boring. I do donkey work for local government. Birmingham City Council to be exact.

Anyhoo you don't want to hear about that! It's boring! Hope to make some new friends here.

Hi, I'm new here, and I've already got a question.
In many threads I see stuff like 'I can't get over 1640', and 'trouble fighting 1700' and stuff like that. What are these numbers? Thank you.

When you play online, you can play ranked games. These are games which besically determine your rank, which is the number you see people talking about. Most people around here are pretty good. Your starting rate is 1600. Depending on whether you win or lose, your score goes up or down.

Alternatively, there are unranked games, and they obviously don't affect your rating.

Hey guys, just joined the forums. I used to play AoM when it first came out, but after a while i uninstalled it. So i just reinstalled it the past week and am remembering how much fun it was lol. So i thought i'd join the forums and talk to other people about this game. I'm not even close to being a decent player, but i'm getting there lol. But yeah, just wanted to say hi.

by the way, do people still play this game online? i mean i still play the original starcraft and a lot of people are online, but do a lot of people still play AoM or has it really died down? i mean you rarely hear people talk about it.
