We all thought that three Egyptian gods were gunna be Ra, Osiris, and Seth, right? Well, according to Chris Rupp (swinger), Isis takes the place of Osiris. This is from that picture of him on the ES page, and I believe the column on the left is serious, just not everything else.

Isis was a Godess who was pictured as the perfect wife and mother. After Osiris was killed and dismembered into hundreds of peices she collected all the pieces and put him back toghether. In a stream under moonlite.
Mixing with Celtic Paganism about the same time as Mithras, this exotic religion at one point was a genuine threat to Christianity. But like Mithraism, It's followers used mysteries to follow their God which were only open to the elite. Christianity gained more follwers and eventually more power.
