I generally classify a siege myth unit to be a unit which does a fair amount of crush damage or bonus vs buildings, but less effective vs other units
they are usually large and clumsy
- scarab
- behemoth
- colossus
- battle boar
etc
Do you guys find them all that useful, or is taking buildings down what siege weapons are for
is it more worthwhile to spend favor on units that are good against soldiers instead?
I find scarabs especially useful because they are less vulnerable to soldiers, destroy buildings slightly faster, and help save wood so I can make more chariots

hekas are amazing, capable at taking down town centers and forts with ease, well worth their enormous price.
It can even defeat archaic Greek heroes (iron upgrades)!!!!!
the only unit that can defeat it in a duel is the avenger and all the other Greek heroes (Achilles, Belphon, Poly etc.)
If you don't think hekas are useful, you are out of your mind
and btw- The avenger is still the best unit period.

the original Aom was actually better
When I first heard of atlanteans having their own civ I thought it was a stupid joke, and when I tried them out, they were just as crappy as I thought they would be, if not more
the new main menu song doesn't sound epic like it once was, and the background sucks. Also the new campaign was so cheesy that I cheated my way through it.
the only good thing about TT is all the little fix ups, like health bar hover over, ability to produce special greek units from normal buildings, auto create villagers- etc.

TT campaign sucks indeed, but I don't care since I only play multiplayer now.

I agree, fire giants make up for the lack of a strong/ranged Norse unit

I have to agree with Pubby on this one, but that aside I'd like to comment on Josh's post. If you have a chokepoint like that generally you should let your opponent burn his resources trying to get through there while you attack a not so heavily guarded area where you can hopefully strike a blow your opponent will likely have a hard time recovering from (e.g. a destroyer raid on a back TC or his markets [something that does not require you to waste your precious favor on Hekas]).
Long sentences ftw lol.
