i would like to see what you can fix that the original teams couldn't do when they made the extended edition.

Everything I listed above can be done without the source code.
I plan on building my own "launcher" for AOM that will control updates, and be a mod manager.

xxmodder: You are probably better fixing the bugs in EE and have as a Workshop item - some have already done this.

nottud: The only problem with that idea is that the workshop and mod manager in EE doesn't work with all the files I'd like to modify. Certain mods will still have to be manually installed. It won't be as simple as subscribing to a workshop item.

I'd be interested in a mod that made AoM more moddable if that make sense? I love being back to tinker with protox and techtreex, but I do want to do more sometimes. I would love to change things that are hardcoded (such as automaton decay rates, or add in new conditions so scorpion man's poison is more appropriately a single target).
