Hi guys, I have a few thoughts on what you said Auron 2. First off, scenario design is a weary process, it will truly test your stamina to start and finish the simplest of ideas within the editor. If you have created an hour of entertainment chances are your ready for a break. The break is a very important part of scenario design, it is where you replenish your senses, read interesting things and get more ideas. Hopefully you haven’t put down something you were in the middle of, it’s very hard to pick up the pieces cold.
There are as many scenarios to write, as there is books to read or movies to watch, it’s endless. Someone will always come around and do something you’ve seen before, better, and new. The trick is to practice with the editor getting close for the kill. As on the one hand your getting tired of the work on the other your improving, which has its own momentum.
Also age of mythology is just a step along the way. Every few years a new editor is released that is more groundbreaking. Maybe it’s not time for you to make your strike. Practice, learn, and enjoy along the way, a story or work may reveal itself to you. And you’ll be ready.
