Well I am new to the forums and i made my first post earlier this morning. It was actually meant to be funny and serious at the same time. See i have been playing Aom for about 4 months now downloading from this site, that I have to admit has made the 10 times more enjoyable. i sort of been getting the hang of the proto language and can do and did alot of changes to the proto. then i started getting into the texture editing and this is all do to the great work people do on this site. Im mostly into unit mods cause you can make your own lil scenarios and using the protox.xml you can pretty much change anything you want about the unit. anyway i posted the famous Dwarves and why they suck thread, not trying to start any beef but just simply to add my opinion and maybe get a laugh or two out of it. Well it all kinda got a lil crazy after that so i decided to step up and make peace with everybody. anyway to make a longer story long i just got on again this evening to see if anybody had commented snd i was suprised to see that the last reply i received was from the moderator PW Darknight saying quote: "what a stupid thread... and thats putting it lightly." and closed my thread. I was just wondering if this was how most moderators are in the forums. Because if it is then there is no point in posting threads just to have some little show off punk diss you and close your thread because he didnt agree with what you said in it. I'll check this thread again in a little bit but this will more than likely be my last post or thread peiod. I've not been registered on here for 24 hours yet and I already have some control freak moderator with a mouse and a pad insulting me and closing my thread im sorry but that seriously ruins any thought of having a good time period. you wouldnt think that a site that is supposed to be for everybody to enjoy and share opinions about diffrent aspects of the game, including somebodys opinion about dwarf mods, would allow somebody to be a moderator with the ability to close your thread who tells you less than 24 hours after you join and probably 7 hours after your first thread, to close the thread and insult you by saying "what a stupid thread... and thats putting it lightly."

The moderators aren't usually like this, however I do agree that PW's attack and closure was uncalled for.

Or another idea! Mods can evolve larger brains and realize that they could move the thread into a different forum! Yes, mods, you DO have the power to move threads. Then, when he actually did post it in the right forum, it still got closed. I think some people's brains are on vacation.

ok i'll atart with the whole "not having anything to do with scenario design and creation." In fact that post had a very simple message if you actually had a sense of humor and that is that in my OPINION dwarf mods are not good mods and basically i wanted to see how many people agreed with me. So i made a couple cracks here and there and yeah i admit that i might have been a little to harsh as far as some of my language but i didnt think anybody would care that much. so you see that thread had alot to do with modding and scenario creation. but ive read alot of threads in these forums and it seems to me that people like you black knight and people like aomplayer are the real trouble makers. by treating these threads like they were your own personal stomping ground people like you actually turn the rooms into the exact thing that you are complaining about. if i make a thread that puts down dwarves, basically just states my opinion, a couple cracks about dwarf mods, and you come in the room and write a two page essay that basically consists of a bunch of quotes taken from my post and pasted onto yours. you want to talk about a personal attack lol i dont think i even have to say anything about that seeings how you were the first one in the room to make a personal attack. if somebody makes a thred that you dont like why do you think you have to automatically attack and insult that person just because they dont agree with you. bottom line is you took a simple arguement or debate and made it personal.

ok a discussion board and a review are two totally diffrent things a review board is the place to state your opinion because thats exactly what it was MY OPINION but a thread is not the place for that... a review is personal thats why the review board exists i mean what good what a review board be if all the reviews were good? on the other hand the forum is for discussion and debate. and just to clear another thing up yes i was a lil tipsy and yes i wished that all the units in king jareds mod wre enlarged lol but nonetheless i have no beef with king jared he has obviously put his time in and therefore must be givin due credit if for nothing else but skill. i will recall my review on king jareds dwarven mod. i wasnt really mad when i wrote the review i just got carried away so i apologize for the review. im sure you have been harsh on reviews yourselves though judging from the comments that alot of you have made to me just in one day. Never the less king jared is the only one who may have reason to attack me. As far as black knight and the rest of the people, I stand by what i said and the fact still remains that all of you had no real reason to insult me. i mean really i make a couple harsh comments about dwarf mods and you all act like i just slapped your mothers.
