I downloaded it and watched it a few times. First thing is the MP3 file in the download (intro.mp3) doesn't match the Music Filename trigger(01 adriemus????.mp3 - something like that), so I had to fix that.
I liked the beginning with the old man in silhouette. It was a nice touch at the end to bring in the light so you could see what you were looking at and begin the exploration of the city. It would be really great if you timed the music so that when the old man dialogue finished, the music volume raised and was at the 48 second point where it has its first crescendo. That would match to the scene opening up to the marvel of the city and really be dramatic.
I'm not the fastest reader in the world, but in some places, I think the text changed too quickly. As for the panning over the city, it seemed to be too many cuts and most cuts were strange or much too fancy. The simple left to right scrolling across the city was good and there was one that seemed to show a tower from the steps upward which was good except that it cut before we could see the top of the tower. I know AOM is cool with its amazing ability to do camera cuts, but there is too much of a good thing.
Overall, the city looked great (from what I could see from the cinematics). If you synchronized the music and got rid of a bunch of camera cuts, it would be very professional.
