I was testing Empire Egypt with one of my friends, and I found that gps work in only a few places. Hardly anywhere on the map, except for mabey just a few spots. Even stranger, they do work anywhere on the map in the editor. Has anyone had this proublem, or does anyone know how to fix it?
And one request: Could you please use the question thread? That way, the rest of the forum remains nice and tidy
Yes, periods and smileys are the same for me No matter what you say

We really need a thing going across the page saying that you should use the question thread.

Make everywhere on the map there is LOS for the player invoking the power.
Simply using the rendering fog and blackmap off is not enough.

Yes I know to use the question thread, I just wanted to know if other people had the proublem. But Nottud, ty. I think that might be the proublem.
Oh, and BTW. Plz close this. Im sorry for not using the question thread.
I think that people need to realise that the question thread is actually there and active the problem is there are always more responses on a new Topic, so techincally there is no adavantage to go on the Question Thread.

The trouble with the question thread is that people keep on asking the same questions over and over again. I think solutions need to be posted on the main post so they are not asked again. This allows people to search for the solution.
If you don't have that search ability - it is better to have new threads all the time. They might temporarily clutter but they get lost due to inactivity anyway so what is the problem? Better still people can use the search feature to search the forum for a thread with the same answered question. For example if you wanted to know about changing camera pitch - just type camera pitch or something and you will get the answer because of threads being made with the question.
Another idea would be to have the main part of the site updated and continue with the library of basic tricks and stuff which people can look up. I know it stopped being updated ages ago but I did find it useful - even though it is now out of date.

Ah... finally some people with the same thought about this.
By the way, do all heaven forums use the same forum version? Because they could use an update to be honest. They do what they can do very well, but there have been some improvements to forums the last few years that greatly improve functionality (e.g. searching within topics and such). If we had such, the question thread would be no big deal, because all the answers could actually be found.
But now there are so many questions (and less answers) that it's near impossible to find what you're looking for with the search feature or by hand.
The other option is to just keep adding things to the FAQ in the main post, or soem kind of library that is regularly updated.
