Sounds interesting. I like the free-roaming concept. As for your black background, you put the entire showcase in a (DIV) tag but you cannot set the background color because you cannot use the STYLE attribute in these forums. I recommend replacing that first/last DIV a table as follows:

if youve read the RPG games topic you would understand I also have a fairly similar idea in planning, im definately doing it and it wont be out yet, although you can go anywhere you want on my Saviors of Corinth at the moment :P

Now, all the heroes abilities work for player 1. I just have to copy it for player 2 to 6 and also copy the hero selecting and upgrade system then it will finally work Online for the

the start isnt free, you have to get to a military base as compulsory, there you get optional missions which you can achieve by sea plus a primary one, you can explore the underworld from here or you can go and wreck a pirate base, the pirate base will spawn units and then you have completed there (the underworld bit will be a primary mission later on, but that bit will not be accessible to start as its the final mission) then you must fight to kill a wolf, once you slay him you can access the camps shop (not triggered yet) then you continue down the path to another two bosses, you slay them and run, because a titan will appear, then you are sent elsewhere, to a mining camp (this will have another 3 optional areas) this is the place with a suprising twist... then you are told to go to corinth itself, there is an optional missions on the way, here there is alot to explore and there will be a PILE of extra missions, one unlocks use of the corinthian canal. Here you must accomplish a few missions, the first you must kill theris, there are 3 optional paths down the same route, then you must find 3 relics in a darkened labyrinth, then bring them to a temple, there will be a path to a small army camp here, and the final mission you find an entrance to the underworld and overhear the enemy, you return to the first base and you take a ship into the underworld, where you HAVE to kill the enemy, then the rest is secret, the last bit is not triggerred yet but is almost finished on the map!

After several houres working on the map, I finally finished the upgrading system, it works for all the players. But let me tell you how it works in detail (I'll update the thread later by editing it and adding a fast explanation about the upgrading system. After killing some protounits in the map, you reach a level. This reaching allow you to use an old man in the upgrade shop and you can pick one of the 8 skills to upgrade. They all are different for all the heroes and you must be carefull when you pick an upgrade (for example, taking speed upgrade with the Brute will be pointless because Brute slowly levels up in this skill). Each hero has his own benefits and flaws. If you take an upgrade that correspond to your flaw, you will levels up higher than other heroes. In the following table, improvements are arranged in ascending order, from lowest (flaw) to highest (benefit), with stantard in the middle. To reach the second level, you have to kill 5 units. And to reach the others levels, you have to kill previous_level+1 unit. Mathematical operation copied from Here is the table :
At the begining, still talking about my map, players can decide to explore randomly without knowing where they go and can meet stronger units first before weaker ones. It often happens in RPG when you don't really know the game. Remember when you played Morrowind, if you played it, and when you went to the middle of the map. You were free, yeah, sure, but because you were just level 1, you just went to an inevitable death. And But I saw you triggering work and I have to say : Congratulations, this is a good job you did. I added and developed the magus ranks and their 4 specifics heroes. You can see the Sorcerer, the Healer, the Witchhunter and the Spellsword. They all have different god powers and aren't made for rushing instead of fighters. i don't remember what god powers I gave to them so for now the abilities are empty, but... Eh... Lot of people came here till the last update damn it I missed it ^^. Well for those who just came back here let me tell you what I added in the showcase : - Explanations about - Explanations about the - Map trailer of the - Slow moving - When you are - Still have to figure out how in 2 triggers you can do 2 differents chat from the NPC, by using the "Distant to Unit" condition and - Lifespan added for healing - - All the Abilities triggers for heroes are copied, now, I just have to adapt them to their respective players By the way, thanks everyone for your encouragements, I hope I will finish the Beta Version soon so we could see together what I could change in the heroes abilities. I'm trying to make it balanced for every heroes... But, as you can imagine, with 16 differents gameplay, it's a little hard... A project by Tasterix.

Game looks amazing dude. I particularly like the upgrade system. Bravery is pretty ingenious vs bosses. If you ever need more attributes you can check my lost temple scenario aka "at26" I never finished because it has a lot of good ones. I used some cool concepts too like whenever a player made a decision on something they would gain or lose attributes. Like if players chose to eat berries that they don't know they get Bravery but lose Intelligence and if players had a certain level of intelligence they would make smarter decisions in cinematics etc.

Even if I know that I will probably not adding other stuff like Intelligence, because it would be really hard and really long, but maybe in the next version, I would like to see what ideas you used but I can't find what you're talking about. Is there a link to it ?
