http://www.cheeseland.net/AnimEdit05Installer.zip - New Version, 0.5 And now you don't get nasty errors from COMDLG32

There, just unzip the stuff anywhere. You don't need any files to be in C:\ or anything like that. Just extract all the files somewhere and open up the exe. I've tested it and it seems to work. It also contains an anim editing guide for those who want to learn how, its lots of fun.

    how would i incorporate this into multiplayer play? like having a scenario that has dwarves with swords that other poeple could download, etc... you get my point.. like is there a way to make it specific to a scenario or anything?

    Fraid you cant make it transfer with a scenario. If you are playing online, you will see swords on your dwarves and anyone who doesnt have the mod will see normal dwarves.

    I think it was Ykkrosh that made that made the anim of the Jarl on the forum party news things, maybe ask him about it

    Somehow this topic always manages to get back up again!

    Hrold I have a post in General Discussion, it tells you how the anim was made. Just search for topics by RiderOfEternity and you'll see one called 'How do you make animations?' or something like then.

    only asking but what utillty is the one taht you can use for makeing a unit have a diffrent atack eg atcantos atack whith huclese

    I don't know what huclese is, but this proggy can change the weapon someone uses. However, if you wanna change how much attack they do or want to change their projectile, you need Vachu's Object Editor.

    I gave the dwarf a Poseidon Trident for herding. Really funny, watching the dwarf use the trident like a giant fork.

    I think signatures are a waste of bandwith, space, time. They are useless, unimportant, stupid, created for no purpose, and anyone who has one is stupid.

    uh i downloaded this, and it is awsome, but does anyone know where you could find a detailed guide on making mods? i tried following the ones here, but I keep having trouble.

    This can be helpful to beginners, but just so everyone knows, this program is not necessary to edit anim files. All you need is wordpad to edit anim files. To make a dwarf cut down trees with a giant sword, just find the dwarf's axe in the anim, and repalce the Visual axe with whatever model you want to replace it with.

    I'm so gonna try this!

    It says that you need to extract the files with AoMed so once I've done that could I put all of the extracted files in another folder and then take out the ones that I've changed. So wat I mean is store the anim's in a different folder that I extracted?

    Edit: Ingore that Question, I'm putting a weapon on Athena just so you know.

    I have a problem with this. I was trying to put a sheild on Athena but it didn't work so I deleted it and now my relic anim doesn't work so how do I fix it.

    Guys!

    Use notepad. And count brackets "{" and "}".

    One in, One out

    Two in, Two out

    Three in, Vice Squad arrives (well not really).

    The best scripting editor is the tab key and good syntax.

    The anim editor has not been changed since 2003 when this topic was started. Also, dont bother with it. It is a lot simpler to just use wordpad or notepad.

    when i try to open the exe file it says sumthin like component COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependiencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid, any ideas on how to get it wrking...

    Hey I started to use AoM again but this time on a new notebook with WinXP.
    Before I used a Win98 - computer where I had the cheesy anim editor installed. That computer is now not any more usable. My problem was to get the editor again via internet because I cannot open any site to download it (for example http://www.cheeseland.net/AnimEdit05Installer.zip.

    Is there somebody who would send this cheesy anim editor to me? ( rteichfuss@aol.com )
