Wow I thought I was just being a whiner/alarmist. What I will do is run my census profile grabber which loads the profile page for each member (at 235 right now). If that can run through a few times without the errant ads popping up, then I think we can say the problem has been resolved. I will report back tomorrow. <br>

Concerning the line breaks in code tags issue that I was having earlier - for a while I thought it went away but it hasn't.
Here is what I have found out: if I use whisper tags, the trigger gets compacted onto one line. If I don't use whisper tags, it seems to be okay.
However, there is something a little quirky. When I post something in code tags, every time I edit the message, it adds a line break just after the opening tag, and before the closing tag, even when I don't change anything. If I edit and resubmit a bunch of times, it adds a line every time.
observe - going to do about 15 edits. view source
ok I got bored after about 8. This is not a critical bug by any means, but it is just something curious that may reveal a bit of insight into what is actually screwing up code tags when you whisper them, because the forums are editting my posts without any inupt from me
I edited it, but I can't tell if it added another one or not...
oh you can wait for what I can give you know what I am so you know how I live try to look proud but you’re not in the slightest its happening now and it’s always been like this.
I ran my profile browsers a few times through and did not come up with a single virus warning. This is a 3 X 235 page test and when running that before, I recieved about 2-3 warnings, so I think we can consider this problem solved.
One thing I was noting about why more people didn't see the warnings is that there is a choice to always ignore the message in the future, which other people might have answered yes to, but I would rather know what is going on with my computer and deal with the annoying popups.
Thanks for your quick response with this.

All HG downloads pages are affected and all ruby heaven homepages are down (DOFH, SPH etc.).
I've informed Zen of the error.

It might just be my dead-slow internet, but I've tried going to the downloads section 4 times today (plus twice on my iPod Touch) and I can't open it any time I've tried.
Current scenarios working on: 104th SOAP, Plants vs. Zombies (paused), Sovothym RPG Scenario guarantee: I will NEVER include foul language in my games. AoM is a T rated game, for violence. Let's keep it that way.
A few times today I got a Malware Warning when going through the AOMH forums:
Quoted from Malware Warning:
The website at aom.heavengames.com contains elements from the site wwww.freighthousesquare.com, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.
I'm assuming it's coming from one of the banner ads. I don't know how much control you have over the ads but I thought I'd report it anyway.

Hi perpetual, I'm searching through our ads but I'm having trouble find it. If you come across it again, can you take a screenshot of the ad itself? Or perhaps describe the ad in some detail? Any additional information would be very helpful

Actually, my assumption about it being from an ad was wrong. Yesterday I didn't look at the page after getting the warning and just assumed it was an ad causing it as I'd seen that on other sites.
It's one of the pages I visited yesterday that gave me the warning, so I did a little investigation and I found the culprit: In the main post, the splash/logo image above the progress bar - httx:// www [DOT] emjer [DOT] com/models/BCToolSplash.png - becomes - httx:// wwww.freighthousesquare [DOT] com/main.php?h=www.emjer.com&i=J86tidMUq/2ngBj8VcJDyJEZ&e=4. when you click on it (Note: I've changed the address so as not to create a Malware Warning on this page)
If you ignore the browser warning about malware you get one of those fake messages about your computer being infected and the webpage does a fake virus scan. You have to force the page closed with Task Manager.
I'm sure Emjer isn't deliberately trying to infect people, I'll post in his thread and let him know something funky is going on with his link.
It doesn't look good for him. I still don't think he would purposely infect people though.

And what's wrong with it? Just because something is old does not mean it needs an update. Perhaps I should update some really old threads in the HOV?

It should look more inviting. I know simple is good, but there should be more info about things like what has been fixed, what is being fixed, common problems, etc.
