The moment the game starts, there is a nauseating cut scene that slashes back and forth for quite a while. I feel like it is unnecessary, and that it degrades from the overall game. Furthermore, after a player died, the boats would still spawn. This would allow for farming, and flat out frustration that a dead player is attacking you. Also, the shop didn't work. In addition, when you can get flying units, you can kill the other player's old men with them. Overall, all the other triggers work smoothly, and work well, but there are some major bugs. When a team wins, they don't really win, and have to resign out. People can accidentally garrison their old man inside the longboat in the selection area, and then can't get out.
Even with the current bugs, the balance and strategy of the game are still pretty solid. The units countering each other are nice, and the leveling isn't to insane per level unit you get really high up. However, this map has the same tragic problem that almost all mythodeas have. When a player starts getting in the lead, it is near impossible to catch up. In this game, it is easier to catch up than others. But the shop working would definitely help. I think that the HP of the walls, gate, towers and wonder are at a good rate. Overall, the balance is alright.
Mythodeas have been done before, but this one has an original twist, the map layout isn't very original, and I am torn between giving a 3 in this category. It seems that the whole layout of the map was a little cliche, but the units were original, the whole aspect of using boats and flying units was solid too. There wasn't any effect that hasn't been done before, but still.
Map Design: 1
Completely unoriginal, bland, and easy to abuse. I'm pretty sure only 3 terrain types are used, and you have no eyecandy whatsoever. There is not much else to say here.
Once again, very bland and unoriginal. There was no story, and there was very unclear instructions. The cinematic explaining how to play was also not well done, as I said earlier it was jerky and nauseating.
I know you can do better bsu, Just keep working on it. This was a big disappointment, I really expected to see more than this.
