Well, this scenario is...not too different from your previous ones...
Playability: 2 t
Turns out that several triggers were not set to high priority or run immediately and therefore only takes effect several seconds into the game. One trigger wasn't even set up properly, like the "Army Build Building" effect which places a foundation of a building, has the protounit set to Anubite and we all know that's a unit, not a building, and therefore doesn't work. Even if i did change it, it would make no difference at all because i don't have enough resources, let alone villagers. As for the gameplay itself, most things went smoothly, except for one thing...see the balance section below.
Balance: 1
I started with minotaurs, centaurs, Arkantos and his female counterpart, and Cerberus, the Titan. I basically sweeped everything the enemy has using only my Titan and the rest are for backup only. The enemy has many siege towers which fared poorly against it and were destroyed in seconds, and they also have some heroes from the vanilla campaign like Amanra and Agamemnon, who were knocked out easily too. At least I didn't get a million meteor god powers like in "Zeus vs Poseidon", but still too easy.
Creativity: 1
This is yet another "DESTROY EVERYTHING FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON AT ALL!!!" scenario. Such a theme has already been used in your last two scenarios. Why can you think of something different? Why not add some twists rather than being straightforward? Come on man!
Map Design: 1
Whoa nelly! The map here is actually worse than the one in "Zeus vs Poseidon"! It's just a blank map with all the GrassA replaced with SandA which fundamentally doesn't change anything, as well as completely unnatural elevations. There is also a GrassA leftover on the east part of the map which looks ugly. Have you ever heard of Terrain mixing and smooth terrain? Also, there are no embellishments, and player 2's base is clustered with neutral settlements and randomly placed buildings that aren't even in the Egyptian culture.
Story/Instructions: 1
nope.avi
No, I'm serious. This scenario is completely devoid of any story nor instructions at all. There isn't even a short message telling me to 'destroy the enemy!' which was present in "Zeus vs Poseidon". Just because this is a straightforward kill and destroy scenario doesn't mean you don't need to put any story or instructions in it at all. Remember that!
Additional Comments:
Come on man! I thought you would get better from reading the reviews of your previous scenarios, and this one is actually worse! I am disappointed!
