I can't believe I didn't review this scenario earlier when it first came out a month ago...oh well, it's now or never!
Playability: 1
There are absolutely no triggers in this scenario, so I guess you must be new to the editor. I started on a citadel center in the middle of an empty GrassA plain, then I looked around the map to find a HUGE army of spearmen plus minotaurs and lernaean hydras. Continued below...
Balance: 1
The enemy has too many units while I had nearly nothing...save for an Osiris God, and even then, He is not considered a solid unit and therefore the game will be lost even when He is still alive while the rest of my units and buildings are destroyed. While the enemy has no AI assigned to them, they automatically attacked my units and buildings and so there's little I can do to stop them save for a single Bolt godpower I have which would prove futile.
Creativity: 1
Other than defending my village, this scenario is basically a "Kill 'em all" type of scenario. Such concepts were never done well, and this one is no exception.
Map Design: 1
While the west of the map has a nicely decorated temple, it does not redeem the fact that the rest of the map is just the default GrassA blank map when you start the map editor. You should implement terrain mixing, changing lighting, more embellishments and forests next time.
Story/Instructions: 1
Well, the summary here says I have to defend my village...but which one? Is it the temple on the west? Or is the five citadels in the north? And why are my enemies attacking me in the first place? Please give more details and a story next time.
Additional Comments:
Since you're new here, I apologize for my rather harsh review. Maybe I can give you some tips? You'll be makin' good maps in no time! ;)
