A mighty impassable cliff separates teams with only one gap in the mighty wall. If the gate falls, so does the rest of your civilisation.

Have fun.

This map is based on my Danube River maps in AOK, Jotunheim maps, and Game Of Thrones inspired me to adjust the theme.

Best played between two teams. Features improved thin borders, plenty of resources, no predators and lots of space and wood for a slug fest.

Update 30th Sept 2014:
Added The Wall 2 to improve gold and hunt on the map for a slightly faster game. Also gap in the wall was widened.

Sword of Scarlet looks like a jontunheim 1-hole clone except worse

It is based on Jotunheim One Hole and Jotunheim Plenty and Danube River as I stated.

This is a much cleaner map than any of the previously stated. It has more hunt, wood and piggies. It has the lowest chance (nil) of getting a TC almost in the Gap like all the other Jotunheim Maps. The edge of the Map is very thin so that Rocs and Pegasus can not hide on the thick cliff edge found in Jotunheim maps.

Originally tried to use other textures for cliffs, none worked because only the cliff textures are considered impassable. I do have an Olympus and Underwater Ice version but you can build, teleport and pass through :( So unfortunately it's either going to be cliffs or sea, and I went with cliffs but dressed them to make it look like icy cliffs.

Starting areas are showing signs of winter coming with cold terrain mixing. Wood piles are better located than any of the other maps I mentioned in AOM.

I hope you can grow to like it as it can be a very fast paced map with three hunts per player plus huge pig supply and plenty of gold mines not to mention it is a great trading map and nicely defended map.

I have updated the files but the download should include the old and new version. The current version is 1.1

Bug Changes:
The changes made reduced the chances of getting no wall with disproportionate teams ie 2 vs 5 or 1 vs 5 etc. the wall should appear on almost all common combinations 2 v 5, 3 v 5 for vs Titans and works normal for balanced teams.

Also in 1.1 the map retains it's thin borders irrespective of teams so you can keep those pesky rocs and pegasus at bay.

Also have better resource distribution than before. There are slightly less pigs but more hunt and gold than in v1. Everything seems better spread especially for common 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 games.

A well made map. As in description, the teams are separated by great cliffs, like in Jotunheim map. Also, the design is the same as in Jotunheim (the snow has been changed with Grass/Grass+Snow... For a GoT theme). What is different from Jotunheim is the fact that there is only one pass that connect the teams; also each player starts with four native settlements. This makes the game more fun (For whomever controls the path; the other one might invent new unknown curse words in his anger :-) ). I played it ~1:13:00 2v2 with the AI. No lack of resources, very playable. The AI did not suffered.

isaingard This map is very very flat, with an occasional wrinkle (very rare) and a jotunheim barrier. I suggest you up the wrinkles to 35 times what you already have.
