Map based on the movie 300. Works for two teams, separated by a narrow passage between a mountain range and the sea. There is an alternative and longer route through the mountains, where there are also TCs and some resources. In places where the teams start there are many resources, and the sea is full of fish.

The map is ok. The same as in description: two path, one long, one straight (you might say). In the center of the map there are Town Centers and resources (see the above screenshot). Plenty of resources, especially food.
There are some problems:
1. The gold mines sometimes block the paths from forests => the player must avoid the entire forest to get where he wants. To avoid this, make the paths a little more bigger, or create a constraint for gold mines to avoid them.
2. In the center of the map, where there are additional resources and TCs (TC = Town Center), the space between them ca get very small => some units will get stuck in there until you cut down the trees or finish a gold mine.
3. The map can sometimes be unfair: at random chances, the TCs are placed sometimes in the middle of the map, sometimes in the same area as the player. I mean, some players will have their TCs in their own land while others will have to walk all the way to the middle of the map to claim their TCs. Create a constraint for TCs to avoid the center of the map or to use fair locs to keep one TC per player.
The map is good, but the above critical things must be fixed because they can influence the gameplay in one way or another. ;-)
Additional Comments:
Reduce the number of whales; they look odd.

Needs more settlements-

Center part of the map looks pretty messy, with some settlements stuck in the middle of mountains. Also, they're pretty uneven.
Additional Comments: In don't see why take the alternative and longer route if one could easily go through the narrow passage. Kinda defeats the whole purpose. Map is kinda pretty tho :P
