This is my first scenario.
You get started a game with 5 villagers and boat. You have to carry them and find and Island. Map is revealaded only for 8 seconds. Ceasefire is active on 3 minutes.
On the Island are only some resources. If it won't be enough you have to find another Island with more resources! The most of resources are in Polifeim's area (avaible to seen on the minimap.
Important: add a bot on nineth player space (this space is reserved for Polifeim's units).
The game itself was fun to play, but there were some flaws in it that were seen before the game OOSed on me. One thing I thought was that the Revealed map was too short for me to get an accurate assessment on where to land, either make the map entirely in the fog or revealed long enough for everyone to land.
The issue I had with balance was that the islands were too varied. If one team stacked heavy in one area and hogged it then the other players would be resigned to having smaller areas and less space to build. In addition one of the best starting spots is right across from where the game starts, rendering the rest of the map useless.
The idea of choosing a place to land is not new and this is pretty much another rendition of Zelda.
Map Design: 3
My Ally chose an expansive area to land and I had a rinky dink island where I couldn't build a temple until I had cleared the forest next to my TC, and the gold mines made it hard to build also. This lead to someone being heroic age before I even built a temple.
