1) I understand that this is not a finished scenario, but since it is released publicly I have to rate it like any other map.
2) scenario made me the blue Troy city (player 1) instead of the player 4. AoM map makes you play as the last player you use to place objects in editor, in this case Player 1, so do be careful of that.
As you say, it's unfinished so I can't give full points here. It works fine as I met only one bug, when the 2 choice dialog screen appears by talking to a merchant, the bottom choice doesn't work. This means there is no way to exist the choice screen.
There has to be a trigger linked to both dialog choices, even if the trigger is merchant saying "goodbye".
Very easy and no way to lose as far as I can see. Still, at least you used objectives whereas some people do not. Balance means means that the player has a chance to lose and win so there is tension/thrill.
Troy themed maps are very common in AoM so a point has to be lost for doing yet another one. However I don't think there is another Troy RPG so congrats on that. Especially one focused on being an armoury business man.
Map Design: 4
Rather pretty, the city layout was coherent (farms outside, a contained market district, military near the walls etc) whereas other people randomly plonk buildings. The walking troops was a good touch.
The islands and nature areas also looked pleasant so no complaints here. Do note that units can walk through Trojan Walls so put some cliff/black rock terrain under them to prevent that.
Some designers have several buildings overlap and vary in size to create a unique and giant structure. Like this
You don't have to be complex, just use it once for the palace instead of a generic TC. But several other map-makes like Tasterix and Oscar do this and it looks really cool.
The objectives were clear. The idea of plying a business and being a common man is a nice break from the usual "you are godly hero destined to slay the evil monsters" story.
Looks promising and I can't wait for further versions.

Bottom choice doesn't work with merchant(the one that you sell food to) and you can click the top choice with merchant when you don't have enough food and still receive 75 gold.
