AoM Custom Music Tool

File Details
Version: AoM: The Titans
I created this convenient layout to easily use custom music in your matches, instead of playing it outside the game, or on the internet.

(Instructions also included in the zip)

Place the "custom music" folder and the "playlist.XMB" file in your sound folder.

Open the custom music folder. These subfolders are where the music goes. The info in the parenthesis indicates how the songs will be played. All you have to do is rename the songs accordingly. For instance, put four songs in the "culture (atty, eggy, greek, norse)" folder named atty, eggy, greek, and norse.

The rest of the folders are for numbered files that will play in order. "standard (1-11)" is the standard game music, "fight (1-6)" is battle music, and "quiet (1-11)" is rare music you sometimes hear in long games when there's not a lot of fighting going on, similar sounding to the standard music, but quieter. Just place files named 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. in these folders. All music files must be mp3's.

PS. I'm just deciding now to include the originals, so all you have to do is swap out what you want.

Glad you like it

Note to people downloading: To uninstall, delete everything, but to just disable, delete/rename/or move the playlist file.

Alphaeus93 I have a question.
I made a sound mod myself for the steam workshop, I replaced the standard, quiet & battle music with music from Apotheo & God of War franchise, but for some reason some times the music loops one after the other & then some times it takes like 2 minutes to loop to the next track, leaving me with long silent moments.

Any idea why this might happen? Do all the tracks need to be in mono or stereo, or does the track length has to be exactly the same as the original?
Thank you.

no and no, but double check your playlist file and make sure everything lines up

use the directions I've included in here also to double check that you've done everything right

Also double check the extensions, ie. .mp3, .wav
