I started making these maps just wanting to make some nice eye-candy in an appropriate setting. I feel that most of the good eye-candy maps on this site are based off other IPs like LotR, and that there aren't that many maps made to look like "proper" AoM maps.
I made this maps because I enjoy making nice maps, though I don't use a lot of re-sizing or modding, since I think it very quickly looks a bit out of place.
However, I GENUINELY think that these maps look pretty great for the most part, and I have put in a good deal of time to add details to make them more fun.
Moment of truth: I'm not great at scenario design like objectives and balancing. I mostly started with just some ideas for a map, and then I just added on fun stuff as I went along. I am hoping to get feedback on these, and perhaps if people enjoy the general layout of the maps, someone can give pointers or even add trigger/objectives/cinematics to make them more playable. They are probably a bit unbalanced. I am also useless at cinematics, so they're nonexistent.
Either way, the maps are:
1) Just named Egypt. Player 1 starts in a wealthy city. Basically it's just Isis vs Set, while trying to make interesting parts in it. Kemsyt and co. wants to enslave the the peaceful city. The desert is treacherous, and like the map itself contains a few secrets.
2) Named Thor's Stand. The story is that Loki is trying to ruin Thor by destroying "The Tree of Life" (his wonder, derivative from Yggdrasil). Loki has rounded up all Giants. This map also has a few secrets that I hope you'll like.
