It has been about 2 years since Age of Empires Online servers shutdown.I never had the chance to play it... For anyone who miss AoEO... For anyone who couldn't play AoEO... This mod will bring back the essence of AoEO ui into life through AoM...

proto / protox files are removed for better compatibility.

I want to change it from 7 to 8 columns and 3 to 4 rows

To rat god,
Do you mean Cutting upper and lower half of fonts?
If this is the problem you have to remove the original (uimain, fonts2 and xfonts) .XML files before copy-paste .XMB files.

I included the XML files and updated it. This should solve the problem.

I would like to make a video. Since my laptop is very old I doubt I can quality record a screencapture. But if you like I can record with my phone & email to you.

Thank you for pointing out. I developed this mod in 1280 x 720 resolution. Then I adjusted to 1024 x 768. Therefore commandpanel size was a bit short to display in 1024 x 768. I have fixed this by making commandpanel a bit longer and updated the file.

I did not change it. I only made the command buttons a bit smaller. Because I tried to change column / raw numbers and did not succeed. Because there are many units, buildings defined in proto which interacts with specific column & raw. If you change the commandpanel column / raw count you must have to edit all the units & building column / raw in the proto. I tried but it was too much.

If we reduce the command panel raws to 2 all raw 3 tiles will not appear in the game.

If we add another column we have to extensively edit proto. There are 3 civilization villagers and every norse military unit who can build. So we have to edit all.

So I guess you can understand what I'm trying to say.

Is there any way that we are enable to see each side's resources and population details while watching the recording just like we can see that in the extended edition?

I found 2 files in EE which will help to develop what you requested. But It seems harder than I thought. So is there any chance I can discuss with you?

Since I couldn't play EE because my laptop does not support it, I have to watch some videos and find EE uimain.XMB study it and if possible combine them.

I will try my best to get both side resources in to the mod.
