AoM: The Titans |
All credit to Blizzard for the animations/models/textures I just ported this into AOM.
This modpack adds the Night Elf faction into AOM and also reintroduces Illidan from the beta version, as with the main modpack they come with 5 heroes and 6 units.
For more information please check my Age of Warcraft post where I've listed more detailed information about each unit -

I still have them but they were never released, most of it was using stuff from other mods or models that I reshaped/textures I slightly changed so I didn't really want to release them it was just for show.
Some of those were released here though:-

I have the normal version of Age of Mythology with the Titans Expansion. The game itself works fine. I placed all of the files of the mod pack into those of the one in the directory of the game (anim to anim, textures to textures, etc.) and I found the units to not appear in my list when I brought up the editor. I then used a mod manager I found on this site (and I checked to make sure the files were being transfered), and this mod still isn't functioning properly.[Edited on 05/08/16 @ 08:44 PM]

You nee to copy all the text in the data to the bottom of your own protox.xml.
And change the numbers in ascending order.

There was no protox.xml file in my regular Age of Mythology with Titans, so I checked my copy of Age of Mythology Extended Edition. It was in the data folder, and after I had edited it the properties menu so it would save my edits, I copied and pasted all of the text from my data.txt file into my protox.xml file, and set the IDs in ascending order from where the last unit had left off. After I saved (and after I had checked several times just to make sure I set all of the IDs), I tried to run the game, and once it reached the screen of Zeus holding a lightning bolt, it said "Initialization Failed", and crashed. I know the game ran fine before, so I switched out the protox.xml file with its backup just to make sure, and the game ran normally. This told me that something had been done incorrectly in my installation of the mod. I decided it could be a problem with the mod manager, so I disabled the mod in the mod manager and manually pasted all of the files into their folders in the AoM directory, and then I tried to run the game, and like before, it displayed the message and crashed. I then redownloaded and installed the mod and still had the problem. I don't know what I'm doing wrong xL[Edited on 05/09/16 @ 09:13 PM]

Okay just to make sure you have Aom the Titans?
And do you wanna add the units in there, or in Aom:EE?
If you wanna add them to the Titans...
You need to download vachu's bar explorer and extract the proto.xmb.
You also need to have Aomed and with that you can convert the proto.xmb to protox.xml.
Then you can cut and paste it to the data folder in your aom map.
That's the first thing you need to do..
If you have Aom: EE, then it would be another story. |

Ohh okay. I would prefer to install the units into EE. It said The Titans at the top and I saw somewhere on other mods on this page where some wouldn't work for certain versions of the game, so I figured if it said The Titans it must only work with just regular AoM with The Titans.
