Version: AoM: The Titans
Credits for Blizzard. Just did some basic 3ds max modeling and protox/anim editing.

This mod will add Ragnaros with his sulfuras hammer and Lil'Ragnaros.

Lil'Ragnaros: New animations/models - HD texture - portrait icons.

Special Attack: Jumpfly attack and changes into a trail of fire and does area damage when hitting his target. He also does area damage upon death.

Ragnaros: New animations/models - HD texture - portrait icons - history file - sounds.

Special Attack: Summons little ragnaros creatures when doing his chargedrangedattack.
He also has a cool birth animation were he steps out of bubbling lava. I thought it fit well with his color.


Put all the files in the corresponding folders.

This mod can not be converted to EE because of the high value of vertices. I could lower the amount of vertices/poly's by a lot but it will still give lag when you hover the mouse over the unit. So unfortunately I still haven't found a proper way of doing this. So if someone know, contact me.

GeeR I like it. Everythig works fine but i have some trouble with code.

for me the only way it works is:

old unit id=xxx

Lil'Rag FireTrail id=xxx+1

Lil'Ragnaros id=xxx+2

then Ragnaros Lava Birth and Lil'Rag Summon

and at the end Ragnaros.

i dont know why but when i put text from data.txt and only change id's Ragnaros is spawning strange units (like i wrote before) like: murlocs, clefthoof xD

But the units is cool and his birth animation too.

Like I said i think there's something not right in your protox file. Maybe if you put a fresh protox.xml in your data folder and add the code in there. Maybe it will work then, because i don't have any issues on my side.

Btw... did you fixed your issue were ragnaros spawns other units?
GeeR Like ive written before, my ragnaros works, but i had to change the code. he is spawning little rangaros and everything works fine. but i had to change the order of units in the data.txt

You mean the Units ID? I always set that to "X" so you can fill it in by yourself so it will be consecutive numbers. Is that what you meant by "the order of units"?

You definitly have something wrong in your protox entry. I did a clean install on the Ragnaros Mod and copied all of the code as I uploaded it at the bottom of my protox xml and changed the unit ID's with consecutive numbers so in my protox entry it looks like this:
Do you have more mods installed? if so..
start at bella (800) and go through all of your inserted code and look if the unit ID's are increasing by 1. so 800 - 801 -802 etc...
Then it must work. I have no problems.

And it doesn't matter if you change the order of how you put the code in as long as you put in consecutive (increasing) ID numbers at the bottom of your protox.

Fan Wollie. Pls heroes of the storm space marine + TASSADAR + Tyrael (if you can) dont need special attack

Thanks for the ratings. I can do HotS models now but don't know if i will upload those because they all have no death animation so that will look ugly in game. Just like the Diablo creature. Because blizzard uses ragdoll physics in HotS But I can get the models to work in AoM. But yeah... that's the downside of it. So don't know if I should continue with these.
