Army Alarmy

You're tired of popcap restrictions but playing without just feels so unbalanced? Well then Army Alarmy should be your choice this time!

Army Alarmy will let you build armies around two to three times as big as normally but keeps the balance by adjusting a few factors ingame.

Map appearance:

The whole rms is built on the base of "land unknown" with edited factors. Terrain and resources are therefore randomized. Generally a varied and open layout. Use large map for even more space.


  • All units except siege weapons take 1 popcap less than usual but at least 1.

  • All units have 30 hp less than usual. Animals of Set have 10 to 25 less.

  • All buildings have 200 hp more than usual. Farms have +100, Obelisks have +50.

  • All ranged buildings have +2 dmg, +2 range and +1 projectile.

  • Town Centers, Manors and Citadel Centers give +10 additional popcap. Houses give +5 additional popcap.

  • Limit for Villagers and Laborers is 50 instead of 80. Gatherers is 55 instead of 80. Dwarves is 25 instead of 40. Citizens is 15 instead of 25.

  • Titans and all units summoned by godpowers stay untouched.

  • So buffing the defense makes up for the mass of units which also get a bit of a debuff.

    Side notes:

    The AI does not notice if there's water like always on "land unknown" and will not build ships.

    Upon saving and loading the game the popcap will reset to 0 for all players and omniscience costs will be reset too. This is due to the modification of popcap costs. AIs will NOT abuse this however.
