Version: AoM: The Titans
Magmar is a combination of Erebus and Jotunheim. While keeping the Layout of Jotunheim (with a few changes) it uses Hades terrain like on Erebus maps.

Like in Erebus the main huntable is Boar, here combined with Aurochs. Predators are Bears and either Wolves or Hyenas.

Gaia Enemies are Serpents, Erebus Shades and Olympus Shades. Olympus Shades have only one single attack and then disappear. They won't stop following you though, except you manage to get out of their LOS.

It's a pretty hostile environment so maybe a bit more interesting for those who like to play defensive and the normal Jotunheim seems boring to.


Update - Lurking in the Dark (29.2.2020):

- The mountains are now lava rivers. Added irregular terrain heights.
- Added decoration: Different fire types, smoke, pestillence clouds, skeletons.
- Nature Myth Units will now spawn randomly all over the map with a grace period of at least 10 minutes in the beginning.
List of units: Wadjet, Troll, Tartarian Spawn, Manticore, Mummy, Heka Gigantes, Chimera, Phoenix, Fire Giant, Theris, Nidhogg.
More dire units spawn later and less frequently. Number increases with more players.
(In multiplayer the map will be playable but the Monsters won't spawn.)

Heavy Hoplite 15 Overall, it is a good map, but it looks like a re-texture of jotunheim - you could maybe make it a river of lava instead of leaving it a mountain (it looks weird), I liked the addition of more huntable meat and hostile shadows and I didn't like the random fires that I couldn't build over.
Add some originality to the map( maybe triggers ) so I can rate you for real.

Thanks for the feedback! Well actually it is mostly a retexturing. I'm not sure about making rivers since that's basically the normal erebus. Maybe make them more like Volcanos... Sadly the constraints don't seem to work properly since the fire and lava blobs are placed everywhere and not just on the connectors. Not sure if I can get something like underworld explosions to be placed there.
I'll send a note here once it's updated.
Do you have any suggestions for triggers?

Heavy Hoplite 15 Maybe a looping trigger that invokes a few volcanic eruption god powers in the middle of the map/where the passages are at, every -(you choose)- minutes.
