loki on ghost lake. i started out not preparing for a rush, but definetly preparing for hersir. he raided me a bit, but my armies constantly defeated his. i got to heroic but didn't build much siege, as i didn't have a good forward area to attack, seeing as you can't build on the 'lake'. while we were in heroic we exchanged battles, but i kept the pressure on him for the most part. i hit mythic pretty quickly and my SoO started wrecking havoc. i took one side and he settled 2 settlements on the other. the front lines of battle along one of the maps curves had been set for the next 10 minutes. fierce battles raged, as my troops quickly trained and reinforced eachother. eventually his starting TC fell. he put up a valiant effort after that, but i was still too much for him. great game, great game, GREAT GAME

Wow, this was a very good game. It had great battles, comebacks, etc. Both players had great economies and militaries. all though i thought that the isis player was a little too defensive at times but he came out as the victor at the end. And also both players used counters. Great game both players. :)

This is what happens when you play an Offensive Civ defensivly
Additional Comments: This game must have been random civs or something, cuz it looked like blue was a greek player.

Excellent game, I have never before seen a game where a guy gets less total score and won.

Additional Comments:
A lot of players say things like "keep making villagers throughout the game," well, this game is proof that there's a balance to things, even production units. Both players had 3 TCs, but the Loki player had a civilian unit high of 84, vs the winner's 47. That's a difference of 37 pop counts, which translates into anywhere from one to one and half dozen military units, enough to change the course of any battle. The Loki player made some mistakes but not obvious ones, what happened was a very rare circumstance in the nowaday economy driven gameplay -- he was out manuveured in battles. This is what sets this game apart: this game is not won through raw economy and power, but through finese in battle micromanagement. The Isis player took advantage of his cheaper improvement and stayed ahead in the tech race most of the game but most importantly, he always attacked Loki's myth units with his priests and Pharaoh, killing those off very efficiently before they could've done much damage. Personally I think he should've relied on axemen a bit more at times, but he made a good mixture of infantries. One thing though, I think the Isis player didn't understand the throwing axemen. The throwing axemen did hacking damage, not piercing. The Isis player would've done a lot better if he improved his hack armor instead of piercing, but he had maximum level piercing armor and no hack armor improvement at all for a long time. Loki player's greatest fault was probably his passiveness, and the inability to make the proper transition to hill fort units from his longhouse units. After Heroic age he made a lot of Huskerals, which was a mistake. Those just end up getting wasted by spearmen, axemen, and the few anubites. I believe he would've benefitted from the power and speed of Jarls a lot more, and he could afford it too. Overall an excellent game.

heheh yeah i wasn't thinkin that game. well my opponent is usually odin. and im usually odin. thats why it was kind of wierd if u thought it was. but i really thought it was a good game myself. people overprodcue villies. 45-55 is perfect for a good mythic econ with upgrades. the way some players play , its like they have an army of vills and not troops
X_Jonezy1133_X How come when i downloaded it and played it both isis and loki were just standing there doing nothing for half an hour???????????
