A low skill game that still showed some interesting points.
The skill level of this game is obvious but more importantly the strategies employed were somewhat awkward. Still, there were some merits to both sides that were worth mentioning, especially on the Egyptian side, who killed his own units on several occasions to make population available for new types of units. As far as battle tactics go, the Poseidon player didn't micromanage very well but did show an understanding of the calvary speed. Overall a boring game to watch but the sea race was noteworthy. This game really looks a lot lower than high 1700, more like mid 1600s.

Nice battle skills on NrS part...Good job
Id give it a 4 but I like a lots of excitment in a game. The greek player showed some skills, but he wasnt playing his best obiously. Just to add to the pervious comment, there were some mistakes in this game that were apparent like building the houses where they were and a lack of agressivness on the greek players part. He didnt have a real army till late heroic. No counter units on his part. Or he could have built some gold carvans to. Ive played Greek players in the 1600s that played better than that. Not to put the guy down, I mean maybe he had a few dinks or something that could happen. As far as the challenge is concerned Id play you NrS lets set up a game Email me at Curt777@shaw.ca. I`ll play anybody who wants a game this is an open challenge. Coke
As far as deleting units is concerned you have to do what you have to, I do it if it means saving my azz in a game.
BTW I am rated in the 1600s and dont claim to be a great player. I consider the entertainment value when I rate games.
