Sudden death rules.
mehron quit early making this a fierce 2v3 battle. All things considered eX_WOLF, IForgetHowToPlay and tGo_deadohiosky did extremely well. The other two players did okay didn't support tGo_deadohiosky as much as eX_WOLF supported his teammate. What I don't understand is why didn't anyone on tGo_deadohiosky's team ever take over mehron's settlement? Especially when tGo_deadohiosky lost his settlement he still made no attempt at building on that settlement. When he finally realized it and tried, it was already too late and he was booted out of the game by sudden death. Anyway, when tGo_deadohiosky went heroic and hit ancestors, things looked really bad for eX_WOLF's team but a tough Hades defense plus a powerful Odin Ulfsark/Jarl offense finally fended it off for the Hades to recuperate. The RAGNAROK sustained some momentum on tGo_deadohiosky's team but wasn't enough to defeat a massive Hades defense. I was very surprised at not only how early eX_WOLF chose to advance to heroic by skipping the classic arms race completely, but also by the amount of improvements he had, both economy and military at a very early stage of the game. tGo_deadohiosky did not have as many economy improvements mostly due to him being hit so hard that he almost died and couldn't afford many improvements but that Blue Crystal Shard relic really helped by increasing gold and wood gathering rate by 10%. Hades' decision to go for building defense was a correct one instead of relying completely on units. The towers killed a massive amount of tGo_deadohiosky's slingers and other. Overall an excellent game on a huge map.
