Poseidon's only military success was raiding Hades' villagers hunting for food, which by the way demonstrated a lot of skill, but after that it was all down the tube. This makes me think that the Poseidon player has played a lot of short games and copied the standard Hippikon rush strategy but doesn't really know how to proceed from there on. First military mistake was to use Hippikons to duke it out with Hades' Hoplites, but it didn't end there. With such a huge economic advantage, the game should've ended by mid-heroic. After the first mistake it was one military disaster after another. For example, for a long time the stables would sit idly while the archery range and military academies desperately made more ineffective units to counter Hades' archers. The fortresses sat idly while being taken out too, instead of making more siege weapons. Massive amounts of assets got taken out for no reason at all, no weapon/armor upgrades either, not a single level throughout an hour long game. Very poor army control, no micromanagement whatsoever. What's wrong here is obvious.
