Extended Description

Gameplay Type: Standard

Description: This RMS was in development even before Erebus was released or finalized. So if anything, Ensemble Studios copied off me! j/k!
This map is more like Arabia and Savanah and is meant for fast paced gameplay. The only food is some Sheep and Berries, no Boars or Deers. This forces people to age as faster to get Farms.
The map is made with only Hades terrain with dead and sometimes burning trees (unharvestable). It has cracks of impassable lava throughout the map, which would make for great choke points.

Author's Notes

Difference Between Underworld and Underworld-Tourney: Underworld has all the map ambients, such as the smoke, fire, and clouds. This can get distracting in a competitive game, so a Tournament edition is provided.
The Tournament edition also has less lava and more trees, which is mainly to clear the battlefield so that things will not be place incorrectlyl thus allowing for a fair game.

Setup and Installation: This is simple, just extract all the files to X:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesAge of Mythologyrm, where drive X would be the drive that Age of Mythology is installed in.
If you installed Age of Mythology elsewhere, just make sure you extract to it's rm folder.

Running: Load up Age of Mythology (be sure not to have Age of Mythology runnning while you install. it will not display if you do.). Where you set up a game, select either Underworld or Underworld-Tourney
(where it has savanah, river nile, Random, and etc...). Start the game. Enjoy! ^_^

Running with Multiple Online Players: Same as above, but EVERYONE has to have the RMS to play. It will automatically send the RMS to the person who does not have it. Be patient and make sure everyone gets it!

Sorry, but this map is just a bad copy of half of the Erebus map. I'm really missing the lava seas and crates. Instead the lava layer is blobbed randomly on the map not fixed to an elevation. The lighting also let the lava look too grey - Fimbulwinter should have been used. And last but not least the map is fully covered with fire and some dust. Do you want to start with a towncenter and farms burning like hell?

Answer: It is nice to see you guys start editing from the beginning. But the lava and hades textures of AOM are older than the start of making this RMS, right?

(i have to agree. This was one dissapointing map. And after all the references to u worked on this before the retail was out, and ES copied u, blah blah blah, this was weak at best. IN the ES campaign, u at least had the FEEL that u were in the UNDERWORLD, like being UNDER!!!!!!

This map had no feel, it was just a basic random map on black terrain with dead trees and some weak attempts at lava or something.)

nobody knew about this map in the alpha which is when the map went under development.

It is common knowledge that seeing some game files in alpha u come to know about the various textures, trggers, etc in the game.

Thats why the commnet that it was in development before anybody knew that a map such as Erebus was going to come.

Exactly, I said that specifically that this was under development before Erebus so people wont compare this to Erebus. That this map is not a hack up version with different lighting. Unfortunately, people dont actually read.
Maximus_ll lol, its funny how people just rush to blindly defend their friends. Talk about idiots. Listen lemming, (kumar)i dont care if this was in development before the alpha, during, whenever. Its just not a very good map. Thats it. plain and simple.
