~The Delphic Oracle~

Follow Theseus and his escorts as they travel to rid the land around them of Bandits.

Aegeus, a man greyed with age, was once a man capable of slaying Minos' beast, the Minotaur. He passes the duty down to his only son, Theseus, who takes it gravely and sets out from his home town, Troezen, to destroy the mythical beast. Theseus must travel to the frozen Norselands to seek out Minos, a palace hidden within the mountains of Eyér. Along the way he meets many new comrades, who join with him to an unknown destiny.
Little does Theseus know that he and his companions will be the ones to save the world from becoming
enveloped entirely in darkness.

Boy, this was an amazing scenario. I sat at my computer for god knows how long playing it. :p This would be a 5.0 for sure if there wasn't a couple minor problems with it. Minor note: Great job with the campaign extractor. ;-) Also out of lack to put this somewhere else I enjoyed scenario 5 and 10 a lot. :-)

Playability: 4
Loads of fun to play and very captivating, although some points got long and a bit tedious no major issues in gameplay although the credits never ended (No victory condition). :p I'd give it a five but I think some things could have been improved on. A four

Balance: 4
I as a not very good player had a lot of difficulty on some levels (Playing on easy, attempting anything higher would be suicide :p) a couple of the B&D ones and one (I think) FF one. Maybe less units for the enemy? It was too hard though for a not so great player.

Creativity: 5
This campaign gives a new meaning to the word creativity. I've never seen some of this stuff/ideas used before. Great special effects and ideas. This would be six if I could give it a 6. ;-)

Map Design: 5
Very well crafted map. Nice looking eye candy and some very pretty stuff.

Story/Instructions: 5
Great story, much improved from the original myth methinks. ;-) I enjoyed it immensely! The instructions were explanatory and helpful.

Overall:
A must download! The designer is very good and the campaign was a pleasure to play. I hope to see more work in the future. :-)

I decided to give an rating too:

Playability: 5
This campaign is awaysome! I realy enjoyed mission 5 and 10 (Kill the minotaur and kill set) That was a sort of... arcade.

Balance: 4
The balance could be a little better, since mission 5 is a lot more difficult then the missions before.
Example:
In mission 10, you will be unmortal! since Theseus and Hippolyta just appear at the shrine when theire killed. Even when the shrine is destroyed!
Setna and Reglineif just regenerate.
and will get back alive when theire killed.

Mission 8 (or was it 9?) when you must get with your Leviatan through that maze was undefeatable!
You need to sail through a bunch of lightbibg statues!
Noone would survive that.

Creativity: 5
I see you spend a lot of time on this campaign.
Good creativity!
Map Design: 5
Nothing to say about this exept: uhmm, Good!

Story/Instructions: 5
It is always difficult to choose an storyline.
And you have a whole story!

Additional Comments:
Like Cheezy said: This is always as good as the normal 'Fall of the trident' campaign.
You should start an campaign with AoM:TT!

I first played this scen when it first came out. i loved it! i was amazed at all the stuff he could do! (now i can do all the stff he can do :D) alas, back then i didnt have an AOM account so i couldnt give it the 5.0 that it deserved. BUT NOW I CAN! :)

Playability: 5
literally to most addicting campaign i have ever seen, i was glued to my computer for 4 hours straight! the bosss battles add an interesting level of gameplay. and the music helps too! the cinematics were astounding, and the credits idea was excellent. good view of the mountains.

Balance: 5
Excelent balence. sure, it was a little hard, but it wasnt impossible. usually you had just enough to make it through, which makes it all the more exciting. It also teaches you an important lesson: SAVE YOUR UNITS!!!

Creativity: 5
if someone didnt give this a 5.0 i'd take out a gun and shoot them! (well, maybe not literaly, but you get the point :P) This was an EXTREMELY creative scenario, you put in things no one has ever seen before, put in brand new levels of gameplay. i honestly havent seen so much imagination in a campaign before. you have everything from a boss battle to a maze! FOR GODS SAKE YOU INVENTED NEW GODPOWERS! THAT IS COOOOOOL!!!!!!

Map Design: 5
the map design was astounding, i could never do such a good job. you packed it to the brim with eyecandy, and had all the terrain blend in. you musta spent 10 hours on eyecandy alone!

Story/Instructions: 5
very engaging. the story had so many plot twists that i sometimes had trouble remebering the initail story! extremely exciting! and the instuctions were clear too. espaically for the boss battle (which was quite obvious, KILL THE EVIL GUY!!)

Additional Comments: This is an amazing scenario! a MUST DL!!!! you have GOT to try it out! i dont know of ANY glitches in it at all! GO AND DL IT!!!!!

EDIT: there is one glitch, a misspelling in scenario 5.

Amazingly thought-out, except there was no way to lose in the last chapter.

Balance: 4
Greatly balanced out. It wasn't too hard, but it wasn't too easy(I've only played it on easy, however.) Chapter 5 a great level, with great music as well.

Creativity: 5
Amazing story! Even though you altered the Theseus and Minotoar myth by a whole lot and made Theseus go even further, it was still entirely make-believe, by you(and whoever else)

Map Design: 5
Amazing. Probably better than Ensemble Studios themselves! Great detail, I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't just edit a random map file.

Story/Instructions: 5
Fantastic. A very clear story, with very clear instructions. The only thing I didn't like it how you used Athena as both Athena and Theseus' mother(can't remember name).

Additional Comments:
Just amazing. The only campaign that could possibly be better then this one is another you create. I also liked the music in Chapters 5, 8, 10, and the credits. Chapter 10's(and I think Chapter 5) were from Secret of Mana or something... I even downloaded the game for my SNES emulator(I don't know if it's the same game, though). This campaign has to be downloaded or you will be declared a complete fool. -Ashtoro

This is an extremely fun campaign! 10 scenarios ranging from RPGs, B&Ds, and even boss battles! This campaign held my intrest the entire time I played it, as with say ES's campaign kept my intrest 80% of the time. ES needs to take lessons from you!

Balance: 5
The game was well balanced, although the last scenario is impossible to lose. I enjoyed it and never felt as if it was boring and not challenging. The campaign challenges you, but does not overwhelm you. That's what makes the biggest difference.

Creativity: 5
First, this is the first time I've ever seen bosses in a single player scenario/campaign. The fake god powers idea was very creative. The creator added so many creative touches to the scenario, and that's what makes it great.

Map Design: 5
Well, there's eyecandy all over. Creative touches include making a static boat look as if it is moving, and transformation to the barren island into a lush one with the statue. This easily matches ES's level of eyecandy. Great work!

Story/Instructions: 5
The game gives the player good instructions, that's a plus. I love how the story transitions from the labyrinth all the way up to Set. Adding mythological places/deeds that I had heard of helped me feel a connection to the story. Overall, fun to play and to watch (cinematics).

Additional Comments:
I really hope you make another campaign. If anyone is complaining about all 5's, seriously, for 2 days I did not want to step away from this to eat or drink. I love the eyecandy, story, and plot, and I say the bosses are the coolest thing, especially that cool music that you picked. I say EXCELLENT JOB! Keep up the good work!

Playability: 5
This is one of the few campaigns that actually made me want to play it again, again, again, again, again and again... It was extremely fun. All quests was possible to fulfill, and as the campaign proceeded it just got more fun. The cinematics were not too long, neither too short, for my likes.
The two boss scenarios added a nice level of gameplay, as someone already mentioned.

Balance: 5
No problems with balance, fights never got too easy or too hard, or too lenghty. Overall the balance was great. There was no way to lose the last scenario, but that was just kind of a relief. I thought that it was genius, to add a scenario where it is not possible to lose as a last scenario; I loved it.

Creativity: 5
This is tops! Even though you used a base story, you edited it, and where you kept the original you made it totally your own. Also, the way you combined mythology, objects and own inputs were good.
Scenario 5 and 10 were incredible, to pretend like you had made new God Powers, doing so that the heroes had to fight several things by the help of Athena was just a fantastic idea. Also, I have to say that the music on those scenarios were great fun ;) They were my favourites.

As a final comment in this section, I have to put in that the creativity in this campaign exceeded the creativity of other campaigns I have played.

Map Design: 5
Very nice! I could see how much effort you had put into it when I played it. It was enjoyable to look at, and nicely put together. Especially on some of the cinematic scenarios your map design was nice. One example is where Athena is talking to Theseus, that was my favourite cinematic. The epilouge was also great considering map design.

On the topic of cinematics, your camera tracks weren't bad either :)

Story/Instructions: 5
The instructions were easy to understand, I didn't get stuck anywhere. And I never had to bother with searching for all eternity for things.
Also, the fact that you sometimes had to solve something before continuing was great.
The storyline went under Creativity.

Additional Comments:
You did a very good job with making this, I simply loved it. :)

Sometimes I'm thrown head first into the game, and I don't quite know what to do. It's pretty good otherwise. One quick note though. One of the scenarios sponateously completed itself and told me I won. Don't know why.

Balance: 3
In a few scenarios the CPU was too powerful and advanced, and they attacked very early. I kept getting wiped out in the first few minutes.

Creativity: 5
Some very original ideas, I like the sunken isle and the minotaur/set battles. Unfortunately, some of the ideas made the maps a bit too difficult, like the .

Map Design: 3
There wasn't much eye candy. The stuff that was there, like the sunken isle was good, but there's very little of it.

Story/Instructions: 3
The story seemed a bit sketchy and rushed. There isn't much time to think. The instructions were ok, but a bit rushed as well

Additional Comments:

A pretty good campaign. Next time, try not to rush the plot. Try to elaborate a bit with dialogue. Perhaps a bit of character development would be nice. Also, some of your ideas, while creative, are a bit difficult to work with. For example, the map where an ally gathers your resources. To build an army big enough to defeat the enemy, I need lots of resources to research technologies and create units. But, because I'm not in control of the flow of resources, it tends to come very very slowly. Meanwhile, the enemy is slowly gnawing away at my defences. Maybe it's just me and the way I play, but I did have a difficult time with it. Otherwise, it's good.
