Playability: 2
of course it was playable but there were no instructions and it was just so bland which made it unblievably boring
Balance: 2
you either won or you didnt some of the senarios tended to miss that point it was either you won or you won, or you lost or you lost.
Creativity: 1
it is almost identical to the story line of fall of the trident just a gazillion times worse(no offence meant) not enough went into making it a unique (or in this case different) story line
Map Design: 1
the maps were the worst part, they were boring, with ugly hills and ground levels. there was nothing other than the odd textured floor and the odd shrine under smoke. there were few-none gold mines or food this campaign isnt really a rts based map at all.
Story/Instructions: 1
same story as fall of the trident (EXACTish) there were no objectives just a stupid blue box that appeared every now and then.
Additional Comments:
i think this map needed thinking put into it. the effort is there the cinematics arent terrible (doesnt mean they're not bad) and i think it would of been cool if youd of put them in a linked campaign as well maybe you might want to take this back and edit what you've got , that way you can change this to a better campaign without all the work that starting from scratch requires |

You know, at first time I was playing 1st and 2nd scn, I thought WOWWIE this is so bad, but I started looking, I noticed this is your first, and for a first campaign it's pretty good, I mean if you look at my first campaign...this is much better !!
You made good use of triggers, only yes, the story was a bit dull but HEY who cares, well, I can't be turning around it and stuff, ok ,it sucks but it sucks in a differtent way:D
So, just keep on designing, and I can help you if you want to

Playability: 3
Although I didn't enjoy this much, it was playable, so a 3 is appropriate.
Balance: 4
I experienced no balance issues, and I think an author deserves credit where credit is due.
Creativity: 2
I agree with the first reviewer, creativty wasn't up-to-par, but still, its a start. Try to use your imagination a little more though.
Map Design: 2
The Map Design was bland, and you need to use the smooth tool more, but still, it doesn't deserve a one. I wish I could give it higher than a 2, unfortunately, I cannot.
Story/Instructions: 4
I always knew what to do, so a 4 is well-earned here.
Additional Comments:
Guys, don't be so harsh. After all, this is his first scenario.
To the Author: Try to be more descriptive, get a good story up and read through all the scenario design articles on the website, and try again!

31 is a staggering number for an AOM campaign. focus on fewer maps and you'll do much better ;) |

Balance: 2
well, the balance was ok.
no scenaris that was wery hard and after that a wery easy one (and visa versa).
Creativity: 1
pah! have you ever heard of eye candy?!
Map Design: 1
WTF! just plain maps. nothing special.
Story/Instructions: 2
nex time you can at least have subtitles so you know something about the scenario
Additional Comments:
the only thing that was good was the sound.

bigjt123,
methinks that u should definetly follow the moto "Quality over Quantity". Lots of Scenarios, not very interesting, and u basically copied the campaign in the game. But just get your imagination working and u should be fine. |

try to work on the map design a little more. the scnearios were just empty. also, there were some animation which sometimes didnt make sense or werent used prperly. like on the last scenario, where Gargarensis is supossed to die like on the last sceanrio of the Fall of the trident. but after he dies, he suddenly appears in other place and its killed again but this time by a boldier. then, he appears in other place tied by his hands in the back, and ajax saying "any last words before you die?" in some parts, there was just an animation mess. but still, good creativity by trying to copy some of the story of the Fall of the Trident Campaign.
try to upload your campaign with more stuff like the map design. and fix some of the animations. the animations were sometimes good though. |
