Synopsis

Brokk & Eitri must defend their village from the attacks of the Frost Giant Folstag.


Installation
----------------

1. Place the "Folstag's Raiders.scx" file in "c:Program FilesAge of MythologyScenario".
2. Place the "FR_ply2.xs" file in "c:Program FilesAge of MythologyAI2".

Plays like one of the expansion campaigns with Brokk and Eitri. If the story was tweaked a little bit that might not be too far from the case. Very professionally made.

Balance: 3
Here there is a problem. Too much time is allowed the player to build up and repulse the weak raider horsemen who just come a little too late to do any damage. You already have walls, towers and a small army to start with.
Then they stop coming together so that I was left in peace to collect resources.
The AI also doesn't build much outside its camp or repair its buildings and maybe that's by design, but it made it too easy after lightning storms are deactivated.

Creativity: 4
1 point taken off--I seem to remember a similar map from the aforementioned expansion campaign. In fact the camp being raided and the lightning storm ARE definitely not new. However, the way to solve the problem of dropping off relics to an ally was solved very elegantly.

Map Design: 4
Functional yet elegant. I like the idea of incorporating a mini-maze on the left side. A little bit strange that there's no fish except in that little pond of the dwarves. Of course that's because the AI does need to fish.

Story/Instructions: 4
Again 1 point taken off for the story with the dwarves and being raided thing again (but I assume there will be more coming). The instructions are very good--although "build and destroy" would sum it fairly accurately too.

Thanks for the review, it seems I did well for my first scenario & script on AOM Heaven. This was really just going to be one scenario but I might expand it and work on the comments made by the reviewer. The AI does need a bit of work & I might modify it to improve the attacks as for building outside the camp this is not done by design however I might get the AI to rebuild walls and towers.
