Version: AoM: The Titans
Gargarensis has to kill Arkantos to become almost immortal. Gargarensis kills Arkantos and becomes almost immortal. Ajax's army must bring Arkantos back to life again and make him powerful enough to kill Gargarensis.

How to Win: Complete all the Objectives.

Installation: Copy "Gargarensis Gift.scx" into C: My Documents My Games Age of Mythology Scenario.

Ahhh, the joys of slaughter. Heh. ^_^ I do so love scenarios with an attempt at continuity! There was enough of a story that the objectives made sense, but not enough to smother. The only real problem I had (while wading through my enemies) was that I did the objectives out of order. Actually I did them in -reverse- order, which caused me no end of headaches. (Wonder, -then- castle 2, -then- castle 1) Doh. :P

Balance: 3
I'm always bad at judging balance, but I think this one was done well. The only nitpick is that I'd recommend pulling the Titan. It would have been a much more challenging scenario if I hadn't had old Fuzzy as my canine wreaking ball. It only took one play-through to win with the Titan, so you might want to pull him or tighten the defenses.

Creativity (Nifty factor) : 3
Okay, so it was basically 'Kill Monster X', but I think the sub-plots brought this up to average (or at least what I consider good enough to replay!) Nice intro cinematic, but you might want to tweak it slightly, since I had time to run my 'hero' around before he died.

Map Design: 3
Not too many Town Centers or gold mines. Well thought out placement of resources (for the most part), but you need someway to keep the player from doing the objectives backwards (like I did). You might want to set it up so that you have to move through one area (and the corresponding objective) before you move on. I'd like to see a little more variation in the terrain as well, the grass and forest could use some tweaking.

Story/Instructions: 3
Good instructions, but a little vague at times. I manages to 'kill' One-Eye by destroying the second castle before I had attacked the first one. I also got the note to destroy the Wonder after I had already done so. Tweaking the map, or the triggers is an easy fix... in theory.

Anywho, I had a great time playing the map, it was a nice change from the other stuff I've been downloading!
