This is my first scenario, so probably isn't very good. It is set when Kastor and Krios have first arrived in the Norse lands. They meet Skult Skultson, son of the treacherous Skult, who tells them of a war between three clans, Raven, Elk and Wolf. They are fighting over some magically fertile ruins called the enchanted fields. Krios decides to sieze the moment and take the surrounding area.
Note: If playing on easy, must capture 6 settlements, on normal 8, on hard 10 and on titan all 12 settlements.
Playability: 2
More or less a very quick B&D on a rather small map. Not too much is to be had here... Nothing special really. While the idea of the scenario is sort-of neat and the opening cinematic is fairly good, it ends up being a simple RM style game, with extra resources. Also, it's abit unfortunate that my enemies are so concerned with each other, as it's just too easy to win with them squabbling amongst one another.
Balance: 2
With just a few villagers, you're good to go--all the way to the mythic age. Your opponents lull behind quite a bit, so it's really all too easy to win... The begining is a bit tricky, but with the right GPs you can win this one without much of a problem. Giving the CPs more starting resources may solve the problem entirely...
Creativity: 2
As stated, very simple and quick B&D. The opening fight and cinematic are quite interesting, but that's about it. Alright, it's a good first scenario, but it's still not as good as it could be... This one is quite run-of-the-mill.
Map Design: 3
Like an RM, perhaps slightly better. A big X-shaped pleatu, in the middle you've got a big collage of resources and foilage. Decent and good enough as it is.
Story/Instructions: 3
Gives all that it needs in all aspects. Not terribly interesting, but provides what the player needs to know... The cinematic is fairly good as it is, with a few problems in unit movement. Also, no need to force humor...
Additional Comments:Too typical. Perhaps a download, perhaps not.
