Man, this scenario was awesome and the playability was awesome. The scenario was also a good length and it wasn't too hard. The forest though, it takes a little bit to get use to but soon enough, I just blazed right though it survived. I had a little problem with the Cyclops but I got through it with Scipo. After I go to the Setna unit dude or whatever, I still had enough units to continue with. The maze was really easy to understand as I played it the first time you put it out. Once you get to the Automtons, it gets easier. It was very playable and I beat the first time through but I took my time. Heck, I beat both titans easily, I just threw one unit out in front of the second titan and had him run around from the titan until I got the second eagle.
I always got enough units to kill off the enemy so it wasn't that hard. Only thing I had alittle trouble with was the Pyramid part because the lampades killed alot of my units but I finally got through it. It was hard at sometimes, but then easy in others so it evened out. [Some of my other views on balance is in Playability]
Holy cow man... everything on here was creative. I would have liked to see some mods but thats alright. What I really loved was all the cinematics, they were amazing especially that like parade thing near the end. The Colliseum part was pretty cool along with the Pyramid part. Like I said before, everything was very creative and I salute you.

Map = Absolutely amazing. Dude, the map was really awesome. You've got real talent.. The Collisuem and Pryamid thing was very cool. I haven't seen anyone try to make a collisuem which made yours even cooler. You should really make some maps for Suprmacy things online, I'd love to see one with just some stuff you make. Whatever anyone else says, the map was pure awesomeness. At the very end with the statue of Scipio... pure coolness. lol
The story, was very creative and original. This was one of the first scenarios I've played in which was based on Roman. DId you make it up or did it really happen? If you made it up, I salute you again because it was a very good idea but even if you took it from a real story, it still was really good and I'd like to read up on it. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because some parts I kind of got lost a little bit because some instructions weren't good enough but it didn't take me like 20 minutes to find out where to go.
This scenario is one of the best I played and deserves to be that german magazine like a couple of other guys was a while ago. Everyone, play this scenario because it is very good. It has everything a scenario needs.
OK so this was not bad, I got stuck a few times and couldn't move, and the camera angles ment that I had to keep rotating the screen so I could see.
Great balance throughout most of it, but the barbarians were impossible to do, mainly because the only way to stop the tiatans from utterly destroying your base was by using your army as a human shield to hold them back while the eagle hatched. I tried twelve times against the barbarians but to no avail so in the end I had to use "WRATH OF THE GODS".
Excellent, music was used to great effect, and ideas such as the pyramid of evil and the colleseum were wondefull assets, all building up to a superb creation, that will definitly do quite well with the other forumers.

Wow, this was completly and utterly the best eye candy I have seen in a long time, you have utilised the new editor to it's full potential. The colleseum was a great idea and was designed brilliantly. The island really felt and looked like a tropical island in the medditeranian or somewhere like that. As for the pyramid of evil wooah, absolutly expertly designed. Your eye candy would put ES to shame.
Your story was both unique and great except for the minor niggle that arkantos say a "thousand years ago I fought a battle" and he hen tells you to go look for his son. It was the instructions that really killed you, alot of spelling mistakes and objectives not matching up with the hints. Perhaps instead of the message saying New Objective added, maybe the message actually shows the objective like ES does.
This is a wicked scenario but there were a few let-downs.
Btw dont take my review personally it is only there to help
Also I feel that anyone who does not write more than twenty lines has no excuse this is soooo massive that even the most "newbish" of newbies could write a pretty lengthy review about it.

After playing Scipio, all I can say is...wow. This is one of the most amazing scenarios I have ever played. As I'll explain in a moment, it is quite different from the ES scenarios but very satisfying. So...
I give Scipio a perfect rating for playability because it is flawless and fun to play through. The whole thing had an arcade-style feel to it. The lack of complex objectives, however, did not detract, but added to the overall experience. The linearness of all the "levels" added to the action-arcade feel.In no places did my character get stuck. One minor bug: When Scipio goes into the labrynth you still retain control of the soldiers in the jungle area. Very fun overall.
Most parts of the scenario are fairly balanced, not to impossible, but not exactly a cakewalk. Here is a list:
Jungle--Great balance of the long range archers vs. the medusa. Definite strategy called for.
Labrynth--Since you only have one character, its a little too hard when you get attacked in mass. Had to use cheats first time.
Egyptian City--Fair and balanced, I liked having to quickly get the egg while the city was overwhelmingly attacked.
Roman Outpost--Somewhat on the difficult side, especially when the barbarians attack. Had to use cheats.
Coloseum--Hard, but not unbeatable with micromanagement (Took me 7 tries)
Pyramid--I liked having a small but extremely powerful force against hordes of enemies.
Because I had to use cheats in some places, I give it a 4.
What can I say? When it comes to creativity, Oscar, you are the man. The jungle, the epic battle, the coloseum, the pyramid of death, it was all so cool!

Not much to say here. Good, strategic use of the map space available, I mentioned the linearness of the levels above. Lots of eyecandy (besides the buildings).
Alright, this is where I felt that you were lacking. I give it a 4 because the plot is still better than most stuff on this site. Not particularly deep, but suited to an arcade scenario of this caliber. A few minor plot paradoxes need fixing. The instructions were clear at all times. Great Roman concept too!
Additional Comments: Great work as usual Oscar. A deserving scen. and an improvement over "Helm's Deep." I hope to see all these things plus a great plot in "The Lost Legion". Keep on making these things!
Well I enjoyed this scenario very much, it was fixed force and role playing. I like those two elements very much. The camera tracks were very good and enjoyable, I liked the intro with the battle between men and beasts, I wonder where you got the idea from ;)
Well the game was well balanced, but in my opinion a bit too easy:
The island: Nicely balanced, the spiders added variation, although it was obvious you would encounter, more spiders, so before moving the archers too kill the Medusa's, you just scouted with a Hypaspist, and Scipio was able to kill the cyclops with the help of archers and the priest healing him.
Maze: Not to hard, Scipio is a one-man-army so you could kill louds of beasts in a row before
resting to regen. The automatons thing was nice, With them you could hold the spawns back while you killed the mummies with Scipio.
Village: You heroes were able to solo the MU army :S
Fortress: Really easy, kill the first titan with the Eagle and let one unit walk around with a titan on his knees, I just moved al my men on top of the fortress to kill the barbarians.
Pyramid: well the only difficult part was getting past the carcinosses, I lost there two times, but the rest was a bit easy, certainly for the last part.
Very creative this was. I liked every part of it. The colleseum part was cool and all your units had to be kept alive(to let them be killed by the Servant)

You really made work of this, the jungle, the Egyptian village, the Roman fortress, the Colloseum and the Pyramid were awesome, and the maze was very mazish to.
Nice story, the idea of all heroes being gathered to destroy evil was great, while not very original but that didn't matter. The objectives could be a bit clearer but it still was understandable.
Well you really made my day today! Great scenario, maby I had to play this Before the Lost Legion, nothing can tip that.

I had fun playing that scenario and it wasn't what I expected but it was fun. It was a bit over item-populated ( there was too much objects in a confined area ) thus making it hard to move around and make up tactics, also the labyrinth camera angle was good, I could see SCIPIO fine.
It is very hard to do, although I do like that in a game that's why I gave you a 4, but maybe it was too hard as it took my 5 goes to finish the scenario. Fun, but hard.
Wow! Just by the opening cinematic and starting point of the scenario, anyone can see that you have put ALOT of time and effort to make your scenario a good as you could do. There is a lot of eyecandy and things that you need to look out for, which kept the game flowing and interesting. You should be happy from what you have achieved.
Map Design: 5
Again I can see you have put a lot of effort into making this scenario interesting and fun, well you have achieved this. Good eyecandy, and lots of objects (sometimes a little too much), but don't hang on that, be happy with such a good scenario.
I was hooked on the story-line for throughout the whole of the game and the cinematics just helped with that. the objectives could have been more clear but apart from that you've made a scenario.
I don't care if you speak English, or not, YOU make on hell of a scenario! Keep it up!
Congratulations ~ Khan
