this level is about reginleif that has to escape the underworld.

tbarak Admittedly one has to take this scenario in context with a campaign- which I assume it is a part of. But standing alone it plays very linearly, is too short, and takes nothing more than blitzing past the static enemy soldiers to reach the base. Then a simple matter of building an army- using the free resources- reaching the flaming castle, and gg. But if the lack of strategy demands in this scenario fails to numb the mind, then the lack of visual stimulation is sure to bring on full-blown comatose. I understand the maze concept, but it's no excuse not to engage my eye's imagination with more dressing and eye candy.

The work has some redeeming factors, however;

The flaming castle was very nice. I really wanted to walk down the corridors, but just as I reached that burning beauty the scenario ended. A little unsatisfying. Would have been nice to find some special relic or something deep within the burning corridors of the fiery castle. Maybe work the flaming castle into the opening cinematic? Its just too nice not to feature more. The vertical gates were a nice touch as was the design of Odin's tower at the basecamp near the burning castle. Also, to my satisfaction, the scenario played flawlessly the first time through. I also like the name, "Sanctuary of Hell". Kinda creepy really.

Although your opening cinematic is extremely short, always include a skip function. In the objectives, "Look at the Loki statue" should be changed to "Find the Loki statue". Also the statues should be renamed same. The problem with this type of scenario- go from point A to B and fight a static, ambush style enemy army- is it's too easy. I got real lazy at the end and simply lured a few units at a time from the burning castle, killed them, healed, and repeated. Really no challenge at all. Perhaps installing a side quest or two may help, or provide alternative ways to win? Maybe add some gates so the player can't just click at the Northern most point of the map and have his units run there past all the dangers.

You have a good base but working in more detail and more challenging strategy demands would vastly improve this solid albeit simple scenario. If one is looking for a fast, light gaming experience, definitely DL and play "No Escape". For more of a chellenge one may have to try the campaign it belongs to.

Otherwise a reasonable effort and I am sure as you work at these you will improve. Best of luck!
