Extreme Fortification

Author File Description
Tysenaar An excellent Demonstration of how effective Hades' archer rush is... but when combined with Agressive walling and fortification, it is deadly. Especially against non-Heimdall Norse opponents.

Game Stats-
Difficulty- "Hard"

Players-
Team 1-
John(me)(Hades)(Blue)
Team 2-
Helluland (Thor)(Red)
Sparta (Poseidon)(Green)

Game-Conquest
Random Map-Random All-(Megalopolis)

Though player 3 was Poseidon, It wasn't as much of a challenge as I thought it would be, since I kind of mixed the army with some podromos. The Fortification was just a fully-upgraded wall lined with Fortresses and towers, and in each Fortress or tower there were 3 toxotes.
I followed the godpath that makes archers as deadly as possible, which gave me the Earthquake God power, which I used immediately after Player 3 put down a titan Gate. At this point I had ridiculous amounts of resources, so I could afford the improvement "ominescence". (That was the only way I could get that god power in there.)
By The time Player 2 unlocked the secrets of the titans, I had my army (along with a titan) on his doorstep. The only reason why It took so long for him to age up was becasue he kept on sending resource groups out into nowhere, where they would be wiped out by my patrolling groups of archers.
The wall that stretches northward was put in there right after (and some of it during) I destroyed the Green, so I could have a better hold on the resources the red kept on going to get. On the north wall, I didn't bother putting any archers in the towers, and didn't even bother building Fortresses, either.

On the map, I drew in colored circles to identify which settlements the enemies took earlier, and black-and-white ones around my underground passages. The red and green lines were just Ideas on where the enemies were, and where they were positioning units.

Over all, this game was freaking fun, and I don't know why I didn't record it. At least I have the map to show you.

Bellerophone Hey Good Going!!

As a matter of fact, I started recording all of my games after I was through the couple of experiences like u had. I think u should too. You really are a better player than me. Cause i can not beat comp. in 1v2 in hard diff. and i think u can. So u r better than me.

I just had one question i wanted to ask. How do i open that bigger mini map that's shown in the picture. I have been playing AOM:TT for a long time. But i could not fing out such a thing. Please tell me How??

Thank you. It was... well, hard. At one point I had to use my good 50 villagers to defend against Player 2... I ran out of resources for military, and he broke through the wall, but at that point he was weakened... so the villagers could take out the 12 ulfsark... it was funny looking.
In other words, the key to playing the harder ones is to make so many villagers that you have no population left and realize that you have no other units other than villagers. But if you don't fix it, you're screwed.
