“The Cauldron is a realm belonging to the Underworld. It was formed after Kronos defeated Osiris in the great battle of what is now known as the War of the Gods. Kronos showed Osiris no mercy. He bellowed into his soul, and wreathed his insides with poisonous toxins. He engraved his body in burns and cuts, and nailed his eyes to his drained-out flesh. Kronos decapitated is head, and imprisoned it within a great tree. He then tore out his soul, and ripped it in half. He placed each half in a Hesperides Tree, and personally ate the rest of his body.
Kronos did all of this as a reminder of the strength and power that the Underworld possesses. If any force were to carry out an assault again on the Underworld, Kronos would repeat his doings, and swiftly end their ruined souls.”
The Cauldron is a two-player scenario based on the story of Kronos and Osiris. It comprises of two opposing forces, the alliances of Osiris (player two), and the death army of Kronos (player one). In the scenario, the alliances of Osiris have come back to claim back Osiris, and to conquer the Underworld once and for all. The first side to control the two Hesperides Trees for five minutes, and therefore claiming the soul of Osiris, will be victorious. If the death army of Kronos achieve victory, the Underworld will uphold, and Osiris will fall for eternity. If the alliances of Osiris achieve victory, the Underworld will fall, and Osiris will rise, dominating the Underworld, and conquering all evil from within the Earth.
The Cauldron is a fast-paced strategic game that is full of surprises. I’m sure it will be very enjoyable and well worth the download.
