All 3 of us arent great players, but 3 intermediates (call us noobs if you feel it necesary) fighting evenly is just as exciting as 3 experts.
We all boom, and trying to spark some war into the other two, i do some tricky roc dropping and catapult-ing to try and irritate Rocket (whos actually the same guy as the other rec. game i posted earlier). Meanwhile I hurl champion axemen and Avengers at Spartan's precious Citadel, somehow unable to sack it.
What I didnt know was that rocket had a base right next to mine, full of palaces, towers, and barracks. I started sending my army there, unable to properly counter his cheiros.
Axeman after axeman after Aveger are slaughtered, while trying to destroy the palaces and barracks. A titan gate godpower awaits at the top of my screen, but those villagers are too precious to pull away from their work, and the other two are armed with Earthquake and Tartarian Gate.
Right as defeat is drawing ever closer, with Rocket's score steadily climbing higher than mine, the tables turn in the favor of Spartacus.
As a whole this game is one of the most fun i've played, and sometimes the old fashioned build-up and fight RTS style is the most entertaining.
This game also shows the value of Dryads, which cost no pop and can wreak havoc on a hero-less player.
One last thing- you may want to fast forward until about 15 minutes or so because theres nmo fighting done in between.
