This is a random map script for AoMX. Fight over the the winding stream Amazon.
Path your way through the thicket of small plants and huge trees but always watch out: some of the plants
may be really dangerous and predators lurk behind every corner. Some of the giant trees are said to
have mysterious creatures around. The natives refer to these arcane creatures as dryads, only whispering
their name. Another rumor says that deep into the forests ancient temples of long perished cultures have
been seen.
Fortunately enough, your civilization decided to settle in a small, fertile valley high up in the mountains
that surround the river bed. This should give you at least some protection until your people are strong
enough to explore the dangerous grounds around the great stream.
Check the included readme for details and an installation guide.
Important: This RMS requires reyk's terrain mod to be installed!

I've playtested it a number of times and it's very interesting. True, at times positioning isn't fair to all, but hey that's how life is anyway.
Additional Comments:
It's really a must try for everyone and not only as a random map.
I'm thinking of using it -after obtaining the creator's permission of course- in an Aztek type adventure -lost in jungle type- scenario I'll make.
congrats Kalus

I like it.
Additional Comments:This is awesome. You'll need a terrain & water download to use it or it sux, but if you download the terrain thingy it'll be great. The only bug in it is the Hespirides Trees. I don't like how you can just walk off and seize control of one. The river graphics are cool, and I like the cliff design. Use flying units, if you can. So many trees and creatures make it hard to march your way across.

Generally good but jsut afew cons..
Additional Comments:
I liked this map but there are afew things that could be a wee bit better:
1. The Carnivora attack poor innocent peasents out for an evening stroll, although this may have been intentional
2. The carnvora base belong to player 1 (blues) you should place any object as gaia, then place down the forest to change the ownership of the carnivora base
3. The banks of the Amazon are a bit rough
4. not enough wild animals or rain
5. the cliff that separate teams can bve walked over.
On the other hand it had alot of pros:
1. It's own icon
2. Creative forest
3. Realism, nothing like a surprise attack by a herd of stupid made up beasts (in other words its not like some modders who put their unit stats too high)
Overall I reccomend this map, it's better than my attempts at maps...

Great map that is interesting and has good eye-candy. My only problem with it is that the center part around the river is not rainforesty enough.
