Version: AoM: The Titans
Alexander the great was one of history’s most brilliant generals. He had an empire that expanded from Macedonia, to Greece, to Egypt, all the way to almost destroying the Persian Empire. Now, it will come to Age of Mythology: The Titans expansion pack!

Alexander is the unit Achilles, modifyed to have greater attack and armor.

Alexander was on his way to Thrace, a place in Macedonia to conqueror the small tribes and colonies that littered the terrain there, but Alexander (Achilles modified and re-named in AoM) find a Persian Sentry Tower, knowing that Persians are there; Alexander prepares his troops and draws his own sword.

but anyways it was a good plot. But I think that it might need some editing, like...

-The opening Cinematic is really a rollercoaster ride with no point.
-Some dialogue would be nice at the begining like the the objective in speaking...
-There is actually no point in having Restoration if your army has mostly units made up with 100% armor.

Lexus_Reloaded Playability, Watchability: 3

The scenario was very easy and should be made harder. The cinematic bumped way to much and should be made smoother. Next time use the effect: render blackmap off off.

Balance: 2

Your units where way to strong and the enemy was way to less and weak. Why do your units got 100% armor?

Creativity: 4

Very creative to create an Alexander campaign altrough you really need to learn much. I've never seen anybody come up with such an idea. Good luck.

Map Design: 2

The map could be made more realistic and you should delete much grass. It looks newbies and I think its a bit ugly.

Story/Instructions: 2

The instructions where a vague, I didn't knew who Trace was and I was just fighting without and goal.

Additional Comments:
First read the whole Library, there are many learnfull articles and then create a campain. Good Luck!

AoMPlayer000 I played the scenario, and I must say, it's of course not a good scn (it's way too easy and has some flaws), but I must say, for a beginner it's a very good start! You understood the basics of the triggers very well, and if you keep on reading, playing around with the scn editor and testing you'll someday be very good at scn design!

He already included objectives, modified units, changed names, spoofed chats, a basic map design (I'd rate it with a 3, check out other scns and the Eyecandy thread in the forum to learn more) and he did all that within a few hours! It's a good start IMO.

The worst thing was the cinematic, as Lexus said, you have to make it much more smoother, don't show the whole map to the player, use "Render Fog/Black Map" OFF, don't show the border of the map in the cinematic, and include a few lines of text in it with "Play Dialogue".

Also, use the "Message" effect to tell the player what to do, along with the objectives.

Ah, and I'll report the idiot if Lexus didn't already...

Celer You know, I really think weensaws gonna be banned. He's swearing, spamming and insulting authors. Nowdays, nearly every bad review reported is by weensaw.

He doesn't seem to appericiate that people are using there time to make scenario, mods etc. I'm gonna report this.
AoMPlayer000 Of course he's going to be banned. He's a spammer (with the only interest to bother us, not to be part in the community).

thank you guys for all the good reviews...

I will try to fix these flaws in the next part when Alexander goes to Greece...

Thank you...
Anastasoulis Sorry, but something is wrong, and I quote:
"Alexander the great was one of history’s most brilliant generals. He had an empire that expanded from Macedonia, to Greece, to Egypt, all the way to almost destroying the Persian Empire."
"Alexander was on his way to Thrace, a place in Macedonia to conqueror the small tribes and colonies that littered the terrain there, but Alexander (Achilles modified and re-named in AoM) find a Persian Sentry Tower, knowing that Persians are there; Alexander prepares his troops and draws his own sword."

1. Macedonia is a place of Greece and Macedonians were just another greek "tribe".
2. Alexander did destroy the Persian Empire with mainly his army of Greeks, replacing it with one of his own.
3. Thrace is not in Macedonia, it's east of it just before the strait where Constantinople or Istanbul-Turkey is today.
4. Thrace and many other areas had been pacified by Alexander's father -Phillipos (Phillip =the man that likes horses).

In fact, if it wasn't for his father Phillip, Alexander would have accomplished very little without the phalanx and would've been known as a famous cavalry commander only.

OK, you know there are mistakes in your cinematics and in other things.
Why don't you use the phalanx mod to recreate the Macedonian phalanx in your game? It'd be much better and you do know how to use triggers.
Also, just an idea, Alexander was wounded many times cause he fought in the front line and some times in front of the front line. So make Alexander regenerate slowly and include a couple of hero-mortal frieds assigned to protect his body.

peace brother

George
