Surviving The CoC
--------------------
This is a fun little scenario I made in my spare time, in it you are a newbie to HG forums, Chuck. You must defeat the hostile forumers. Along the way, you'll have some important choices regarding the CoC. Fail, and Angel Zen will BAN YOU!! So good luck, don't do anything stupid!
Note: This scenario isn't very long, created mostly for humor. Click on the hostile forumers to see their names. ^_^ |

Playability: 3
Well, it was playable and fairly entertaining. There weren't any obvious bugs and the ending cinematic ran smoothly. However, there wasn't much to do. The messengers were too far away so most of the map was just walking around from place to place. Add some more exciting elements.
Balance: 3
The game wasn't too hard and not too easy. I just ran past the GillB fire giant and I used the lightning bolt on the colossus. The restoration power was also useful after some of the hostile forummers. Though, I can't believe you made me kill echowinds and KS, lol. The only reason I gave you a 3 on balance was because there were not enough enemies to fight. Balance is easy to perfect if you only have a couple of hostile units, add more forummers for a more fun scenario.
Creativity: 4
I liked the scenario. The whole Surviving the Code of Conduct idea was very creative and unique. You also used a nice use of special effects like when the Messengers of Zen dissappeared, they left with that cool Arkantos leaving embellishment. Nice job. I would suggest adding some more quests to the game and maybe some more questions as well.
Map Design: 1
Not much too see here. Most of the map was just plain grass. I'd suggest adding some more elevation and blending the terrain to make it look more natural. Also, add some more objects to enhance the map. Examples are flowers, rocks, grass, bushes, wild animals, ruins, etc. One thing I did like was the temple area behind the colossus at the end of the map. That was pretty neat.
Story/Instructions: 2
There wasn't much of a story and the instructions weren't very clear. You kind of explained what was going on but some more dialog and additional objectives would help create a more detailed plot.
Additional Comments:
Nice map, it was quite enjoyabable!
Best Regards,
Cherub Alex

The idea behind this scenario is great, but the scenario itself is not so thoroughly made.
I have to ask you, though it might be pointless (you don't visit here anymore, do you?), but could I be allowed to use your idea and make a scenario of my own? |
