Sorry mate, but it's a very superficial job, just a a hodgepodge of gathered ideas and info that someone can find in other people's guides and through the use of search in the threads.
In sort, a newbie will be lost be reading it, as it will give him only glimpse of the big picture.
There's a much better guide on how to go about scenario design, plus lots of info in the threads. Sorry for saying this, but don't post guides that guide you on the wrong path, OK?
Additional Comments:
Pls, it's not good practice to write up a guide when your knowledge is insufficient or lacking. It only blurs the image and distracts people's attention from the "other" guides, you know, the one's that are for real and not an attempt to show off.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but the title of your file is: "Entire Walkthrough to Scenario Design", so you can understand my frustration when I eagerly DLed it and started reading, hoping to find-learn something new.
No hard feelings.
regards

The article is to encourage scenario design, I made it as clear as possible. I am sorry, but I disagree with your review; this guide was not made to show off, etc, I have worked hard on it, and I worked hard on it to help some designers.
Thanks for reviewing, TitanHeart. |

Anastasoulis, even if its not too complete, it's still not as bad as 1.
1 would be something like: "ope n thenew maap nd puut sum unitz downn anfd makez 2 teams n hav them figgt." |

Thanks, echo.
I am still adding some great features for "Nine Secrets of Scenario Design (Walkthrough v2)". I hope to release it one day soon. |

OK, I don't want to appear as some malevolent guy here, plus I'm not experienced in Reviewing. So I'll give you a 3 which I guess stands for an average job, OK?
The thing you should include -in my humble opinion- is really a step by step guide for specific actions. For example gather all the triggers (as has inconclusively been attempted), so that the newbie designers -like me- have a detailed explanation of how they work.
Additional Comments:
Perhaps I over reacted out of frustration.
Perhaps people like me -who haven't been successfull yet in presenting a complete work- shouldn't Review other people's works.
Sorry TtanHeart, I just drew my gun out too fast, pls accept my apology. |

It deserves this rating because of the lack of information and detail.
Additional Comments:
The comments you make are common sense that all beginners would understand themselves. You call it a walkthrough, a walkthrough is a top to bottom detailed description of a subject, you haven't done that!
It deserves a 1 and I recommend everyone against downloading it because it's a waste of time!
You say in the description, I quote " Everything to do with scenario design ", that is a lie. It doesn't cover the major aspects of scenario design, triggers or cinematics where beginners don't have a clue!
They need a thorough guide covering all aspects of the game, you don't cover it!
Your guide is crap!
Anastasoulis ; You shouldn't of apologized, you only told the truth, I would take it back if I were you

Dear Anastasoulis,
You wrote in your comment
> There's a much better guide on how to go about scenario design, plus lots of info in the threads. Sorry for saying this, but don't post guides that guide you on the wrong path, OK? <
but you forgot to mention the one or two alternative guides you apparently referred to and where people like myself are looking for.
Please be so kind and tell us where we can find the more reliable guidelines to AoM editing. Perhaps you even can tell me where I can download AOMED in order to convert my bmp's to SL Pics. Thanx in advance !

It is kinda just thrown together. There is some useful information hidden in there, but most of it is just random stuff placed in. It seems kinda unorganized. Most of this is basic, but I think that is the point. Keep working on it and try to make it... neater. |
