Playability: 1
This map had a bit of my attention at the start and after a few minutes I was completely bored. Really, this scenario is basically like a 1v1 random map. You're occasionally attacked (see balance) and you can attack while you build up. It's especially boring to have to advance to mythic and build siege, because it takes literally forever. Actually, I never even made it THAT far (again, see balance)
Balance: 2
Balance is low because you're constantly attacked. You're attacked faster than you can build defenses. I had to resign after 10mins when I was swarmed with Anubites, Axemen, and some horsemen (at least 100 troops) but was unable to defend because my main objective of advancing left no resources for anything else. Your next map should definately be easier.
Creativity: 2
This map is nothing but your basic build and destroy except for a minute storyline. The scenario should've had an interesting gameplay and perhaps an engaging, immersing storyline. The minute storyline is what made it a 2.
Map Design: 4
If you did something well, it had to be eyecandy. Some parts of the map were expertly decorated. Other parts were bland. However, the quality of the decorated areas was good enough to raise from 3 to 4. Excellent job, next time cover the map completely in eyecandy and the 5's all yours!
Story/Instructions: 3
Instructions are clear, so that's a plus. The storyline is not engaging, but still enough. I would say this map is average here, and 3 is average.
Additional Comments:
Next time make a more exciting map with a more engaging storyline, and you'll be destined for a good review. Eyecandy is the best plus in this scenario, however I wouldn't reccomend it because of the bored-factor. However if you want to see some great eyecandy techniques in action, check out this map! That's it.
