Jedi Mod Version 2.1

Author File Description
File Details
Version: AoM: The Titans
This mod adds a Jedi Master, Jedi Padawan, Medical Droid and Sith Lord to Age of Mythology, as well as a modified Jedi Knight unit from the previous Jedi Mod. All of these units can be built from a Jedi Temple available in the Classical Age by all civilations.

The download includes custom anim files, textures, sounds, data files, and histories. Unfortunately, the lack of new models has not been fixed. Instructions have been included in the download for installation.

Some screenshots can be found here: http://photobucket.com/albums/v396/BigFatZ/

Any questions, comments, or concerns can be sent to zurgtron@gmail.com. If there are questions about installation, please check the forums before emailing me.

Thanks for downloading, and enjoy!

This is much better than the last one.It has better textures and the new units are great. One more thing why didnt you submit this a long time ago because you had a picture of it in photobucket a long time ago.

Yeah, but life interupted, so I had to postpone this. Then I had an urge to finish it, so I did! And I'm glad you like it.

Psst, I also may be making atleast one new model. Don't get excited though, because I'm not entirely sure yet.

It's alright. The jedi lightsabers are awesome, I wasn't fond of the models which were mediocre, and the 'medical robot' wasn't much to look at.

Good job nevertheless! Must have for anyone interested in making a Star Wars scn.

Heh, yeah, the droid pretty much... sucked. I meant to work a little harder on the texture, but then I realized after a while that I really had no textures to work off of to make it look good, so it ended up looking kinda like a floating Automaton.

I'm glad you like the lightsabers! I feared people would be off-put by their lack of, shall we say, energy-blade-appearance.

Oh, and if anyone knows how to make or edit A.I.'s, it would be great you could fix the computer players so that they build Jedi in a Random Map game. Since the new units aren't really recognized, they don't get built, so only humans use them, and thus it's almost too easy.
tasev I tried to make a green lightsaber and when I converted it to a .ddt but it didnt work. It said Conversion Finished but there was a window saying perl line......

Um, that's probably because of AoMED. You may have converted it wrong or something's wrong with the program. Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix that. :-S
tasev I checked a million times and I converted it right. It was 15, 1 alpha, 0, 5 mip map levels. You give me your thing.
File Author
Huh. I seriously don't know what to tell you. And what 'thing' are you referring to? I'd be happy to send it, if I knew what you wanted.
tasev I'm reffering to your format or numbers like:15 1 bit alpha[1] 5 mip map levels. You know how when you convert something to a bmp at the end it tells you these numbers. When you convert it back to a ddt you have to select your ddt format.Well whats your lightsabors format when you convert it.

Firstly, just in case you have the wrong file, it's the 'attachments x sword standard'. And the "code" is: "15-bit, 1-bit alpha [0]", 5 mip-map levels

If that doesn't work, then I don't know what the problem is.
